thats bull! bleach is probably their best! just because EVERYBODYS heard nevermind (in my opinion their worst probably because its so overplayed) it's considered their best

>>By idontknowdotcom23   (Thursday, 6 May 2004 19:57)

Kurt did a tribute to his own band? ummmmmm okay then.

>>By fish4ever   (Thursday, 6 May 2004 21:13)

i like the song all apologies

>>By Jane   (Thursday, 6 May 2004 23:02)

i totally agree idontknowdotcom, i mean bleach is the most hardcore of their albums, i also think it has this strange, deranged vibe to it, i totally love the album its my fav of Nirvana's and yes Nevermind is my least fav, really man, fucking I think Nirvana's rarities and B-sides are their best, i'm not talking about just shit off incesticide i'm talking about their other badass rare shit. Nevermind's a good album. but it's the most poopy one of them all.

>>By Machine_of_Undertow   (Friday, 7 May 2004 02:47)

thanks for agreeing machine of undertow! kurt did a tribute to his own band? whats this?

>>By idontknowdotcom23   (Friday, 7 May 2004 23:02)

if u read down on the list of albums theres one which is a string tribute to nirvana by kurt. just seemed a bit strange that he did a tribute to his own band.

>>By fish4ever   (Friday, 7 May 2004 23:19)

hmm i dont think that it was by kurt....that'd be a bit strange...

>>By idontknowdotcom23   (Saturday, 8 May 2004 12:26)

it says by cobain, kurt. unless there is another kurt cobain i am guessing its probably him.

>>By fish4ever   (Saturday, 8 May 2004 12:54)

I don't know, guys. I just don't like Bleach all that much. Sad, this is like the only thing that I have ever disagreed with that idontknow said. Haha but yeah, I don't care that Nevermind was their most popular album and the only one that anyone knows songs off of, it still has some of his most meaningful songs. When Kurt talks about Bleach later on in his life in interviews, he said that that cd didn't mean shit to him and that he wrote most of the songs hours before they were recorded. I think that their most celebrated cd was the core of their sound, of what made them who they were. With Nevermind, they made a new sound, whereas with Bleach, they had the same sound as a lot of the other bands on the Seattle music scene at the time.

thats interesting, raveoncaroline, that really puts things in perspective :) i still love bleach though!

>>By idontknowdotcom23   (Sunday, 9 May 2004 20:10)

Yeah, that is odd. But I like the music in Bleach more than Nevermind. I think Nevermind has pretty awesome lyrics though. "All the animals I trapped have become my pets" But that doesn't beat In Utero, which is just supremely cool. My favourite album ever, after A Rush of Blood to the Head by Coldplay.

as i have said before on earlier pages no one comes close to their talent

>>By Vavin   (Monday, 10 May 2004 01:12)

>>By Vavin   (Tuesday, 11 May 2004 18:02)

Hey, why does it say on the left that Bleach was released in 1991? It was released in 1992, wasn't it?? And why is Incesticide so hard to get hold of? Okaeey, I know the answer to that last one. Is it worth buying it?

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Tuesday, 11 May 2004 18:59)

well, I hope your question is not an ironic one cause I'll feel a right dick if it is.Actually it came out in 1989 and it's piss easy to get Incesticide round where I leave. In a low price too.And yes it is worth buying

>>By thom   (Tuesday, 11 May 2004 23:03)

(I meant to say "round where I LIVE". Just a.... howdyacallit? typo, uh?)

>>By thom   (Tuesday, 11 May 2004 23:06)

And to ask your other question,it was re-issued in '91.I think.

>>By thom   (Tuesday, 11 May 2004 23:09)

( I meant to say "answer your other..."). what is wrong with me?

>>By thom   (Tuesday, 11 May 2004 23:11)

Hahahaha! Well, you're very lucky, then... In Utero is really cheap here (no idea why, since I think it's their best album), but Incesticide is virtually impossible to find.

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Tuesday, 11 May 2004 23:31)

you can find it easily on amazon.com...that's where i buy all my nirvana cd's...the last one i got was 'unplugged in new york"...man i love it...it's great and i highly recommend it to any Nirvana fan....half of the songs on the album are covered....but it's still good cuz Nivana makes it their own. hey i have a question...does anyone know where to find Nirvana unplugged in new york-the DVD...i've searched all over the net and i've even emailed MTV to see if they can give me info. on how to obtain a copy of that concert. it's weird cuz you can find a DVD of every artist that has performed on 'mtv unplugged' but not Nirvana. so if anybody knows anything on that please let me know...thanks

>>By odnanref   (Wednesday, 12 May 2004 00:15)

I didn't know you could buy the MTV unplugged concert DVD of any band! Oooh I want the Nirvana one! I have all the Nirvana cds and bought them all at my local HMV... they're not hard to find! Well I guess it depends where you are :)

>>By idontknowdotcom23   (Wednesday, 12 May 2004 20:15)

Have you ever heard the song Cobain did with T.A.B.P? It's called Filthlover/Lintfather, or something stupid like that. It's a really stupid song. Just ridunculous.
