Well jack_is_hot7, your cool cause you stand your ground. I have a lot of respect for you. I'm not calling you a poser. I wouldn't care if you were. Your cool in my book. I like all kinds of stuff that isn't punk. I listen to whatever I think is good. I think you do to, and thats cool.
All I'm trying to point out, is that GC isn't worth this much contraversy. I mean, if you don't think they are punk, and you think only posers listen to them, than why would punk be getting a bad reputation? Let the posers think what they will. It can't affect the punk community. Punk is unstoppable. Punk is out of control. It has no boundaries. Punk will always exist because there will always be someone who goes against the rules of the known world, and strives for freedom and acceptance.

Explain yourself "too smart for a nickname" (which is proving yourself wrong).. just a blank statement means nothing to me.. I might even agree with you, but I wanna know why you say this........ For I don't think they are so highly rated at all... Most music lovers hate them, it is mostly kids who like their music..... don't know so many 25 year old who think they actually make good music......

I think it's funny how most of us here don't like GC, but we are the ones adding pages. Oh well.
That would be rather annoying if they had a bunch of songs about their dad, and It sounds like they do. I get bored when a band writes the same song over and over again on the same album. Thats one reason why I don't care for Anti-Flag. I think they sing the same thing all the time. It just gets old quick. But thats just my opinion.
Sometimes I don't mind if a band writes the same song over again, it depends on the subject matter a guess.

yeah that's how I feel about anti-flag I like them a lot but they do write about the same old stuff at least it's a good subject! and they actually do have a whole bunch of songs that aren't at all related to their "main topic" and if you really listen each song has it's own mini-subject so therefore they aren't all about the same thing exactly yup that's my opinion...I would post it on the anti-flag board but I think they deleted it and it's related to something on this board so....what the hell?

I think Anti-Flag is okay, even though I don't agree with all they say. But I really like some of their songs, and I really dislike some of their songs. So yeah........wut eva.

Ok Campking, first of all relax! All i said was Good Charlotte are overrated and i just wanted to see would people agree. The only reason i believe this is because at the Kerrang awards they were nominated for a load of categories and i just dont think they're that special or good!

Sorry to short for a nickname, didn't see you weren't american and so didn't think of the sheer possibilty of Irony.... Still would never use that name, nor serious nor with Irnoy... but that's just me..
I think I am quiet relaxed.. haven't hurt or insulted anyone personnaly yet.. (only Americans in general)...
I don't think GC are any good, just don't like these short statements in message/discussion boards, since they add nothing to a discussion, and don't raise any questions..
Now I know why you think they are overrated I can do nothing but agree with you... I am going to see them live and then I will end my conclusion.. don't think it will work out well for them..

Hahahahahahah......Thats right!!!! Back to business.
So there I was on a bus. I looked at my friends cds, and saw GC in her collection. I asked her if I could listen to it. So I did. And to tell ya the truth, it wasn't bad. I mean come, it was some catchy shit. Not every song was good, and I don't consider it a punk record, I consider it a GC record.
Thats all it is. Just a GC record. If you like it great, if not, thats cool too. But, I can honestly say that they have some talent. I'd like to hear Campking sing like that dude from GC. Come on now!!!!!
