why don't you all check out some real punk bands and not some idiots with alot of corprate backing and no real convictions or intresting things to say. i would be willing to bet their record company paid for those fashionable tatoos.

well... I don't know... I don't listen to much punk in normal cases... I'm more into alternative metal & everything else with metal and I have no idea why I listen to GC more than that I like the lyrics 'cuz they tells so much about me and my feelings (tell me I'm a idiot, it shouldn't be any supprise) I can relate to what they sing about and I don't care... I'm sorry if they make me feel good, I'm sorry if it feels like I mean something after I've listen to their songs... but as I said before... I don't listen to much punk and I think it's a shame that people says that Good Charlotte is the new "punk kings" because they're not punk, and I've never said that they were it... I'm sorry if this isn't the answers you like to hear... but I'm not sorry that I stand for this...
and I can't tell you enough fun it is to listen to when ya'll talk about things you don't even know about *lol* kidding a'ight? see ya
and please... don't tell me how deep you think this is 'cuz it's not that deep as I can get on it... I just can remember the words on english =)

It may not be a nice stereotype, but judging by the fans on Flork, Good Charlotte fans are generally very ignorant of everything. Mekko is different - as in a rare fan who actually knows what she's talking about.

since no one has exactly answered this question yet on page 24 "why do they call themselves good charlotte" is because joel and benji read a book called good charlotte and they thought it sucked so they thought they sucked AT THE TIME (which alot of people still think they do which they dont) so benji and joel called it good charlotte.
oh yeah good charlotte is a little kids book... if i didnt ad that in there and i got that off an interview with joel

somewhere there's a thin line between what's obssesion *wrong spelling i guess* and not and I can admit that I've been near that line just because of GC but I'm glad I'm not because yeah they're great but not the greatest and there sure is something special about them that got me into them, but there are many other band there's something special with... of course not the same thing but I think you get my point....
What I'm trying to say is: they're making good music but it's too many that drives on the same road as them and then there's nothing much special just for them left...

I was half-expecting someone to say "NO! Of course Benji is not gay because he's going to father my children and then marry me!" except all in CAPS and without the correct spelling. But I wonder why fans like krystal promise an answer to such questions and then, when the questions get asked, fail to answer them. It's insanity.

they haven't had time to say that yet... but it should be pretty funny to see how many of the fans that's going to answer those questions... I'm a fan but I think it's way out of line to know that stuff about an artist...
should I want anyone to know things like that if I was famous? *wich I probably never going to* I think that's personal and noone has to do with it.... my opinion...

I think there are some things a big fan of a band should know. To me it doesn't even matter what they look like. Stuff you should know is what their songs are about, who they are influenced by and what instruments they play. Also there's current information like when they're on tour and when their next release is. Information about their personal life is barely relevant and finding out about their families and such is stupid - definitely obsessed.
