And you think I'm a crazy extremist? Well, that's just a little harsh. Have I ever insulted you? What exactly am I doing to destroy punk? I wouldn't get pissed if someone labelled me, in fact I'll do it myself. I am an insane poser. But I'd rather be a poser hater than a poser fan of GC. I meant that punk was intended generally to keep posers away. A punk band with one true fan and no posers is better than a band with no fans and a huge group of posers, at least from my point of view it is.

Your right, GC won't be around forever, But either was the clash, or even operation ivy, and those are two of the best old punk bands that existed.
i THINK THE MAIN point here is that in 20 years from now, noone (I repeat: NO-ONE), will talk about GC (or April Lasagna for that matter) while I am convinced they still will remember the Clash or Operation Ivy, bands with a heart, a message, a vision and originality, and thus with great influence on other bands...

I can't say that punk is better than any other style of music, because there are bad punk bands and there are awesome punk bands. It varies. But I'm not happy to listen to a band which claims to be something it isn't. I will never like GC, but I can't impose good musical taste on everyone. It'd just be nice if some people saw GC for what they really are.
Another thing I don't like is being told that these ugly creatures are hot. I really can't begin to say how hideous I find them, as if that was a way to calculate someone's musical talent. If the revolution comes around soon, Good Charlotte will roast over an open fire. Failing that, they will just fade away into non-existence as soon as their next album comes out. Whatever it's like, it will be a break-or-break for them. Bye GC!
By the way Jonny, I'm still keen to know what makes me crazy, what makes me an extremist, and what I'm doing to destroy punk. If GC is what you call punk, they don't need any destroying. They're doing it for themselves. As for the crazy extremism, I demand either an apology for that or some evidence to back it up because I think that remark was uncalled for. Or maybe I was wrong, and I should just go out and blow myself up crazily, killing some punks in the process. Is that what you think?

Sk8er H8er, I think you are an extremist, because you pass so much judgment out. You seem to think your musical opinion is superior. You think you can label punk, and put a cage around it. Jonny, don't try to tell me what I think, because you can't read my mind. Are you trying to make me feel stupid by saying that I'm checking out the guys? I know the difference between an ugly guy and a good-looking guy, even though I am straight. I also think your definition of extremist is a bit out of date. In my eyes, anyone who hates GC has good judgement, at least in that field. It's not me who is labelling GC. But if people believe they are punk, the reputation of punk will be damaged. Anyway, what's your problem with labelling? Labelling people is wrong, I'll admit, but labelling music is useful so that you know what you're listening to before you hear it.

Yes, cash dog is indeed a terrible name. Benji seems to have lost the art of dog naming, but it's his damn dog, so he can call it what he likes. Well, I'm cool with agreeing to disagree. I'm not trying to make an enemy, I just get pissed off sometimes. But let me just say, the only people who call GC punk, is their fans. If they are posers, then their opinion doesn't really account for much.
