Hiya darlins my name is Tina and I love HIM! They're a great band with a lot of talent and not to mention a BEAUTIFUL man named Ville. I hate when people judge others by wat they choose to do in their personal life. Im a bisexual and Im proud of it and I could give crapt less wat any1 else thinks about it or me for that matter. I love who I am and I dont apprecciate ppl tryin to put me down. Dont let any1 ever try to change u gurlies and guys because were all unique and beautiful in our own ways! HIM has helped me get thru my friends death. See she was 13 and so was I. She died of bone cancer and it made me realize be with the people u love and spend as much time as u can with them because u never know how long u have with them! Oh also, throwme2thedogs, Bam Margera and Ville Valo are very good friends and so Ville let Bam use the trademark Heartagram symbol. Anyway Bam Margera is a professional skateboarder, My favorite! :) Both Ville and Bam are my favorite people.

Although listenable, I don't really think H.I.M. are worth the pools of dribble that they're getting here.
It's all a rather watery version of that which had come before in the 'fantasy gothic' genre (i.e., not 'love metal' which is quite simply the stupidest term i've ever heard)
I'm going to see them when they play glasgow in a week's time, maybe my opinion will raise then?

This is a joke, right? You people aren't all really serious, are you? You're ready to die for this band, and their songs make you live, and all that? Someone on this board criticized another for needing to smoke weed to feel good, yet from what you all write, it sounds like you need this band to exist...hmmm. Double standard? Get over yourselves. It's a band. You can be the biggest fan in the world, but is it necessary to act like the band is the most important thing on the planet? And seriously, get over the genre name-calling. Who the hell cares what label someone puts on another's music? Call it what you want, if you like it, you like it. Goth-rock, punk-metal, emo, "love metal" (that's seriously ridiculous, though), it's all the same. I think some people need to get outside and experience life, rather than living through some band's music. And please don't get me wrong; before you go cursing at me for not knowing what I'm talking about, and telling me I don't know what HIM is all about, know that I have researched what I'm writing about. I have listened to their music. I have read what they have to say. I know what I'm talking about. But for real, people. It's a band, not a way of life.

Ville sings about the way love should be like, i know that there is a lot of other bands out there that sing about the same stuff but, its just the way Valo sings, his voice, it sooths every muscle in my body, it makes me want to hear more and more, and i love that about HIM
anyway, fav. songs, "love you like i do", "Heaven Tonight", "Heartache Every Moment", "Poison Girl", "Circle of Fear" All of them are good... PS Please come to the States and play
