I'm listening to HIM now, and it isn't that bad, but Ville's voice totally spoils it. It sounds like a pop/punk effort.

ville's voice is one of the greatest things about HIM, it totally changes sometimes

No it isn't; Drukq User is right. Ville's voice doesn't seem to suit the music at all.

hmm...i actually think ville's voice suits the music perfectly....he has a really wide range of pitches (he can sing both high and low) and his voice is somewhat deep and "dark" which is kind of like the music HIM plays...everyone to themselves i suppose

god , of course villes voice is right , what is wrong you people , he has the only voice ive heard that sounds right with the music , he can at times sound warm, charming and caring , and then he can go to pure evil soundoing , almost brutal , and the whole time he has a wonderful elagance and beauty in his voice . any one who cant see that shouldnt even be listening to the music . ville is a musical genious , his voice is wonderful and there is no way to question that. and i guess you could maybe consider the demo of borellus an album by itself .

i'm not sure. i havent heard anything about it. all i know is that not too many people that i know know who him are, and it saddens me, but i love it when i see someone with a him shirt on, and i was in a store the other day, and i have a him patch sewn onto my jacket/sweater thing, and this guy told me that it was really cool and that he loves him. a lot of guys seem to like them here. but yeah, they got a lot of him stuff at a rock music store here, and that's cool too, but they never get any radio or tv play here, and that makes me sad too.

Thats the same in Australia. No-one I know of knows who they are, and none of my friends are into music other than what is mainstream. Its sucks! I bought Love Metal a couple of months ago. Actually, I was surprised the store had it, but it was the only copy, and the ONLY HIM cd the store stocked.
What other bands are you guys into? I'm sick of mainstream rock. I mean, Hoobastank's
The Reason and Simple Plan's Perfect seem to be the biggest 'rock' songs at the moment. Isn't there anything else (like HIM) that you guys can help me get into?!?

entwine are alot like HIM... only singer has different voice... you could check frostburn, they are not alike him, but it's like 69 eyes... whoever likes HIM, like frostburn too! nightwish are cool....

HIM is HIM , other band sdont reall y compare to them , they have good music , but i think HIM may just be the only band that has the music like theres , im not sure how wel i said thaqt , but you guys seem smart enuff to figure what i mean
