| Discussion: Nirvana Yeh, i agree with Jane. They wouldn't be gods of music to that many people if Cobain was still alive. Many people argue that Nirvana were/are 'overrated' which may be true but I always say that's a lot better than no recognition at all! I honestly believe Nirvana planted the seeds for a lot of modern music today, if they hadn't existed a lot of bands we know and love today wouldn't be around. You can't really prove me wrong on that, but hey that's my thoughts on the subject. >>By endless_nameless Absolutely, they helped set the standard for the nineties. I don't think real, earnest rock music has ever been as popular since and they deserve respect and recognition for that.
