>>By BRIANNA   (Sunday, 19 Sep 2004 18:21)

Kurt Cobain wrote the song Stain about me:

Well he never bleeds and he never fucks and he never leaves coz he's got bad luck and he never reads and he never draws and he never sleeps coz he's got bad blood.

I'm a stain.

cool

>>By idontknowdotcom23   (Saturday, 16 Oct 2004 16:27)

actually stain was directed to a certain group of people that Kurt saw as very annoying. If I am not wrong the typical dum americans......

>>By Campking   (Saturday, 16 Oct 2004 18:20)

coincidence then, that stain happens to be about me

Tenacious D are fabulous musicians (and of course Dave Grohl drums for them) but they really don't match up to Nirvana at all... do their songs have any actual meaning at all??
Why do you say that song is about you? To put it bluntly, it isn't.
My favourite song by Nirvana is probably Scentless Apprentice because it's so hard.

>>By Bitch Fit   (Sunday, 17 Oct 2004 14:29)

My favourite Nirvana song is probably Aneurysm. I think Incensticide is easily Nirvana's second best CD, after Nevermind, which isn't bad for an odds-and-ends collection. I also love Sliver, Dive, Been A Son, Big Long Now, Turnaround.

>>By spikee   (Sunday, 17 Oct 2004 14:38)

I think In Utero is the best.

>>By Bitch Fit   (Sunday, 17 Oct 2004 14:55)

I don't care for half the tracks on In Utero. Pennyroyal Tea, Serve The Servants, All Apologies and a few others are good.

>>By spikee   (Sunday, 17 Oct 2004 14:58)

What about Rape Me, Scentless Apprentice, Heart-shaped Box, Very Ape, Milk it and Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle?

>>By Bitch Fit   (Sunday, 17 Oct 2004 16:05)

I like Scentless Apprentice and the verses of Heart Shaped Box.

>>By spikee   (Monday, 18 Oct 2004 12:11)

my favorite nirvana songs are come as you are, verse chorus verse, lithium, all apologies and heart shaped box. I can't for their box set to come out in november....

>>By odnanref   (Monday, 18 Oct 2004 22:28)

Box set, cool. Does it contain lots of rare stuff? I haven't heard the song Verse Chorus Verse, or I Hate Myself & I Want To Die, or lots of others.

>>By spikee   (Tuesday, 19 Oct 2004 01:02)

Fav Nirvana song erm..prob Loung Act. Peace Love and Empathy xXx

>>By Valmono   (Monday, 25 Oct 2004 22:59)

I really love Lounge Act too. The moment it returns to the TRUTH, COVERED IN SECURITY, I CAN'T LET YOU SMOTHER ME............. is orgasmic.

>>By spikee   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 01:15)

Really orgasmic? Can't say that song does it for me...

>>By Bitch Fit   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 01:50)

Well, me neither, unless I think of Courtney Love at the time.

>>By spikee   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 02:00)

lol ew :) my favorite nirvana songs are heart shaped box, rape me, and you know you're right ....it amuses me that so far, nobody's said their favorite song is teen spirit yet thats the song everybody knows nirvana for...

>>By idontknowdotcom23   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 10:47)

Rape Me, which borrows the opening riff from Teen Spirit? I personally don't think the In Utero songs come close to Nirvana's best....... but I know I'm in the minority on that.

>>By spikee   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 12:16)

Rape Me really does sound a lot like Teen Spirit - so much that I can't tell the 2 songs apart when they start playing. It's REALLY annoying. I don't love either of them really... but my best friend's favourite Nirvana song is Smells Like Teen Spirit! He's not quite as big a fan as I am though.

>>By Bitch Fit   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 14:16)

I'm not the hugest, hardcorest of Nirvana fans.... but none of my friends could possibly love music in general as much as I do.

>>By spikee   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 14:28)

I was the biggest Nirvana fan out of anyone I knew, and its been a while since I listened, but when I throw one of the cds in it takes me back, and I love it even more. I recently read an article and courtney said if anyone said to her that Francis Bean looked like Kurt she would punch them in the face, Whoa mama. I read another article that said after Kurt and Courtney met they saw each other at a club and she tackled him to the ground and it was love after that.

>>By jfredricks   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 15:36)

nirvana is one my favs i love the songs are plateau and lake of fire but there are so meny good songs to chouse from

>>By Night wolf   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 18:03)

a while ago i read that when kurt was asked about the props for the unpluged show, he said flowers, and low lighting and they asked like a funeral and he said yes. that show was right before he died.

>>By jfredricks   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 19:41)

kurt cobain did kill himself courtney was in CA, and he was trying to call her at the hotel but she had a fake name and he could not remember it. he was quoted before he died that it was better to be burnt out than to fade away...............

>>By jfredricks   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 19:46)

does anyone ever wonder if they will see kurt in the 4th of july??

>>By jfredricks   (Wednesday, 27 Oct 2004 17:57)

no, cuz kurt wasn't a 'bad folk'

>>By odnanref   (Wednesday, 27 Oct 2004 18:36)

well he did kill himself, if heaven is true, he is not there

>>By jfredricks   (Wednesday, 27 Oct 2004 19:45)

u have no proof that he killed himself....and even if he did, who are you to say who goes to heaven or hell....and if you wanna talk about kurt specifically, go to his discussion board...not nirvana's...
