>>By Grazyl   (Wednesday, 20 Oct 2004 13:20)

"whoever says they're boring live has no clue!!!!!!!!"
So my friends who have seen them live have no clue?
Metallica are better than Muse.

>>By Bitch Fit   (Wednesday, 20 Oct 2004 17:10)

I don't think Metallica are better than Muse. But I haven't really heard enough Metallica to be qualified to say that. *Shrug* Muse aren't the best band ever by any stretch of the imagination.

>>By Flagg   (Wednesday, 20 Oct 2004 18:34)

Yeh but anyone who hasnt seen them live yet really shud. Me n a group of mates r hoping to get tickets for this gig. If i get tickets ill be over the moon cos it wud be the 2nd time i see them this yr

>>By devon_girl   (Wednesday, 20 Oct 2004 21:46)

I'll do my best.

>>By Flagg   (Wednesday, 20 Oct 2004 22:09)

Yeah Bitch Fit your mates have no clue! Muse pride themselves on their live performances. And for a reason - they are brilliant! And if you dont believe me, read the reviews.
I dont think Metalica and Muse are an apt comparison to be honest.

>>By muse junkie   (Thursday, 21 Oct 2004 00:24)

no - Muse and metalica really are 2 v dif kinds of music.
iv seen them live and they were good - not the best band iv seen live - like the strokes rock live - but there show is nothing to be spat on.

>>By nite nite   (Thursday, 21 Oct 2004 03:19)

Anyone know that Cypress Hill song.... "I'll fuckin' spit on you *haa-chhhhu*"

How exactly do you spell a spit anyway?

>>By spikee   (Thursday, 21 Oct 2004 03:29)

That's more of a sneeze if you ask me. A spit would be kind of.... 'kschwer-sp't!' or something. I think someone should say something about Muse before we go totally off track.

>>By Flagg   (Friday, 22 Oct 2004 23:18)

k - i just read my last post - and i was talking bout Muse live :)

>>By nite nite   (Saturday, 23 Oct 2004 08:33)

>>By ashmate   (Saturday, 23 Oct 2004 10:35)

>>By devon_girl   (Monday, 25 Oct 2004 22:17)

He was inspired by Tom Morello.

>>By Bitch Fit   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 01:52)

Wasnt matt bellamy's idol tom waits? thats wat i read in nme a few weeks ago.
Neway has anyone ever tried playing a muse song on guitar, its impossible!!!! but then agen im not exactly talented wen it comes to musical instruments. lol.

>>By devon_girl   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 16:55)

I play a passable Plug-In Baby. As long as you don't listen to the album straight afterwards, cos then you notice the difference. : /

His idol was Tom Waits? Wow, you'd never guess from the way he sings. I think Jeff Buckley was a inspiration for him, can't remember where I heard that though.

>>By Flagg   (Tuesday, 26 Oct 2004 19:44)

I heard that 2.

>>By muse junkie   (Wednesday, 27 Oct 2004 01:50)

I just heard it from my friend... he might have been mistaken. He just said that Tom Morello inspired him to become really great at guitar.

>>By Bitch Fit   (Wednesday, 27 Oct 2004 16:22)

He's better on piano anyway....

>>By muse junkie   (Thursday, 28 Oct 2004 05:58)

There are better bands than Muse, but they're very good.

>>By Flagg   (Saturday, 30 Oct 2004 23:12)

I'd have to disagree with Flagg, there are no bands better than Muse. Muse is my absolute favorite band! I'm so excited! I'm going to FINALLY get to see them December 2nd!!

>>By Mrs.Bellamy   (Sunday, 31 Oct 2004 05:00)

>>By devon_girl   (Sunday, 31 Oct 2004 13:27)

I stand by what I said, there are better bands, but Origin of Symmetry is a classic, and Citiazen Erased is a classic within a classic

>>By Flagg   (Sunday, 31 Oct 2004 22:30)

Nah id have to agree with the Mrs, Muse are the greatest band of all time. But yeah Origin is a classic and Citizen - faultless.
I wanna go to the earls court gig.

>>By muse junkie   (Monday, 1 Nov 2004 05:54)

Origin is an excellent album and Citizen Erased is a wonderful song (not faultless though), but Muse are not the best band in the world. Get over it. They're just one of the best.

>>By Bitch Fit   (Monday, 1 Nov 2004 10:07)

I said it once and i'll say it again: Muse are the greatest band of all time. Just accept it ;)
