Hey. I'm a huge fan of Swollen Members, they're my favorite rappers. I have every single song from all 4 of their CDs, and some others that weren't on CDs. I'm going to order one of those badass CDs off their site too. So sup. I'll probably be posting here regularly.
About the whole thing about Swollen Members being all changed because of Moka Only singing, I actually love the whole idea of him singing. It sounds great. I'm concerned about their lyrics though... I loved their old dark fantasy lyrics that Mad Child did, but on the new Heavy CD, his lyrics were just... Bad. I hope in future CDs they keep Moka Only's singing, but they should go back to their old lyrics. Anybody agree?

I think moka has a great voice! But i agree about the lyrics. Paranoia is a good song, and i like sensational breed too. I want to get a t-shirt..maybe one day lol. Do you have msn? thanks!

yo, swollen members might seem great but ya'll better check out the Transillvanians.....i saw them at a show not long ago and they battled swollen members. first they opened for them...then madchild said somethin' to one of em and a battle broke out. transillvanians destroyed them though. it was nuts!

Swollen members may as well join some corporate label cause they look like they're on one. spiked wrist bands and dancin' around with no shirts and shit....jeesh....next video they'll be doin' oiled up wrestling with no shirts on. plus they wear all the preppy skate gear and shit.....that type of shit just says "look at me, i'm an unorigional yuppy".

I'm a young man actually. And you took that from their latest album "Heavy", which was slightly lacking in the lyrics department, even though it still kicked ass. Their lyrics fit together like a fucking puzzle... I don't understand how you could dislike them. I searched your band on Bearshare and didn't find shit about them. Open your eyes people. Swollen Memebers, formely Vancouvers finest, but now. they're a disgrace to vancouver and hiphop. I don't know if any of you notice but thier last 3 singles (Fuel Injected, Bring It Home, Steppin' Thru) are all pretty much the same. a crappy tehcno party beat with meaningless lyrics. And then moka tainting his legacy as the most prolific rapper of all time. Swollen used to make honest music, now it's just to sell records to 13 year old girls. I don't think there is any hope for them, once you get a taste of money and fame, there isnt much of a chance you'll go back. Swollen are just another victim in the business of rap.

Hey sorry I haven't been posting on here for a while but geez!! Ok I've never even heard of Transilvanians. And so what if they lost a 'Battle' I mean, like it doens't matter. There lyrics are amazing in Balance and Bad Dreams, but its difficult to stay that sharp with the lyrical skills for a long time. To me heavy was like an experiment, and hopefully they will go back to the old Swollen. And there clothes..nothings wrong with them. Prevail is amazing at freestyling..there is no denying that! I dont get why people come around and bash bands they dont like, when they could use there time discussing about bands they do like instead. If you dont like Swollen Members, well thats your opinion. I understand this is a messgae board, welcoming all opinions but it would be better just to keep your mouth shut, because then people get angry. I love Swollen Members..I think they are amazing people!! So if you dont like them, its your own problem.
