dude, i saw these clowns live and their idiots.. i want nothing to do with them...I'm sick of all the hype, and all this crappy music that's coming out...it all sounds the same and has no meaning...it makes me sick...

Hey everyone whats goin on? First i have to say a couple of things:
1. SWOLLEN MEMBERS KICKS ASS!!
2. fuck everyone that talks shit about swollen you shouldnt be here in the first place!
3. I hope swollen doesnt turn gangsta...some of the songs on heavy like remember the name and all night are startin to sound like normal gangsta rap...hopefully they will start makin more songs like MITC bad dreams and balance
haha the dvd is soo good prevail is funny as crap and mad's like wasted the whole time so its even funnier if you dont have heavy buy it now! i wanna go to one of theyre concerts soo bad but i live in North Carolina and only ab rude and dj drew came here but no swollen!! i was soo pissed...they need to tour in the US...i wanna meet them sometime

My buddy copt a tape in paris one day and sent it to me. It's old swolen members tracks. I liked it, the feel and all. And they got some cool lyrics. But I don't know about all this industrial packaging on hiphop as a product. Swollen members be dope. on the other hand you know they got to put up with bullshit to have a video on MTV. Indie is on one extreme and corporate is on another. Maybe swoleen members is in the middle but from what I read here allot of what ya'll is saying is that they kinda be gearing there shize toward a sellable production package. Whereby madchild don't put no fear in no eyes accept maybe the hinds of his own with a big fatty ? (love) or $

yaa theyre old stuff is way better...is it just me or is mad turning a little gangsta?? like in remember the name "26 inch rims caddilac of course" mad needs to make some more lyrics like in against all odds thats an amazing song!! prevails lyrics in heavy are awesome!! they still arent gangsta and thats good. paranoia is a kickass song! i was a little disappointed in heavy but it still kicks ass so go buy it now!!

It's like the gangstah image is a product sold that, now more than ever, glorifies the extreme of "ghetto fabulous" POVERTY.
I hear allot of people say Canada doesn't have the poverty like the U.S. but look at Hastings in British Columbia... needles all in the streets. And mad Swollen Members wheatpasted posters up also. Word.
In the U.S. mass poverty is a necesity in establishing the "free market" of affordable capital product and it's a damn shame too that people would be, by any means possible, still trying to fit their tires around those big ass rims when we could have a party all the same with some turn tables, a drum and a piano. The MCs will just have to flow loud.

What do you all know about Mad Childs junior partner/ co -owner of Battle Axe records, Nucleus?
He also produces a lot of their songs.
He's also in a lot of their videos, does anyone know anything about him?What do you think about his tracks? I heard he was suppossed to be their DJ instead of Rob the viking but he wasn't into it.
