O: Nooo, that sounds like SweetSerenity! Perving on Ville's arse... Der Gothmarmot thinks Ville Valo and Matt Bellamy are both very ugly... but then he thought the same about Mike Flower and Serj Tankian

Who's the hottttttest guy in the world?

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Thursday, 7 Sep 2006 23:19)

Argh! Sk8a H8a you know I'm biased :o)~
And I wasn't about to perv on them... unless you take me to see 'em live, but you at a HIM gig? I think not....

However, apparently... at Leeds Muse just played a lot of they're new stuff along with Plug in Baby and Feeling good... so doesn't seem like they had that great a set list. Sorry random!

>>By SweetSerenity   (Thursday, 7 Sep 2006 23:27)

oh come on sk8a,no matter how great muse are,we all know Ville is the hottest guy in music, haha.

>>By scarletnikki   (Friday, 8 Sep 2006 14:57)

I think Supermassive Black Hole sounds pretty much like everything else I've heard by Muse.

I can't decide whether to get the new album or not. I've been told it's all crazily different and amazing but...

>>By Flagg   (Friday, 8 Sep 2006 15:00)

Duuuude, I don't reckon the new album sounds like their old stuff... butttt...

I do think it takes a bit of listening to to get into it like, I love it now but wasn't soooo keen at first like, and yeah...

P.S I'll get worried if Sk8a H8a starts chosing who's the hottest BLOKE in music!

>>By SweetSerenity   (Friday, 8 Sep 2006 19:08)

Doooooooo you love the whole album as much as their old stuff then?
I'mmm the hottest bloke in music, you know... that or the lead singer in 45 Ridiculous Clenched Feet, the keyboarder in Cupboard Love or the bassist in Dassein!

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Saturday, 9 Sep 2006 14:35)

Yeah, I'm starting to like the new album just as much as their old stuff, specially since I listened to it so much on holiday hehehe. Um yeah...

Oh and of course you're the hottest bloke in music Sk8a H8a, but like I said I'm biased.
:o)~

Thank yooou!
Iiiiiiiii think Knights of Cydonia is brilliant :P

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Sunday, 10 Sep 2006 21:09)

that is, it's pure cheese and is fun to play, whilst being very easy

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Monday, 11 Sep 2006 01:42)

>>By keels   (Monday, 18 Sep 2006 17:32)

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Tuesday, 19 Sep 2006 12:26)

Didn't like them much.

>>By endless_nameless   (Wednesday, 20 Sep 2006 00:45)

I thought they were decent, although the recordings could be better

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Wednesday, 20 Sep 2006 01:27)

Just back from the Aberdeen Muse gig, my socks have been completely rocked off. Definitely lived up to my hopes and expectations (ha, see what I did there?)
Long may they keep kicking ass!!!!

>>By endless_nameless   (Tuesday, 7 Nov 2006 03:19)

So you'd say Muse really are as good live as they are recorded?
I have doubts that the quality of their playing ain't as good live as when recorded. This is just based upon listening to Hullabaloo... so yeah... if this ain't so.... hmm... I may be interested in seeing them at some point....

>>By SweetSerenity   (Saturday, 11 Nov 2006 17:45)

I don't go to gigs to hear a duplicate of the album, I like the raw feel and energy of a live gig. Besides, Muse have won the best live act award for like the third year in a row, so yes the quality of their live shows are top notch. No band can sound as good live as they do on a record, but I like that. It makes them seem more human and natural. Especially when they fuck-up lol. Anyway Muse always put on the best live shows so yeah, you should go see them!

>>By endless_nameless   (Saturday, 11 Nov 2006 18:19)

Well, in that case they shouldn't have released Hullabaloo 'cause in my opinion it was appaling.
And some gig's can be shamefull live, so m'yer. Hence I was sceptical after listening to the poorness of said album.

>>By SweetSerenity   (Saturday, 11 Nov 2006 20:15)

yes, the live recordings on Hullaballoo are rubbish but the live videos I've seen are much better! I say we go see them when we get a chance (:

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Sunday, 12 Nov 2006 02:55)

El oh el, well ye must drag me along then :o)~

Well another thing is, are they gonna play everything thats on the new album? I'd rather have a mix and hope they shove in lotsa stuff off the Origin of Symetry album....

>>By SweetSerenity   (Sunday, 12 Nov 2006 09:34)

Sweet serenity, here's their setlist they played in Aberdeen:

1.Knights Of Cydonia
2.Hysteria
3.Map Of The Problematique
4.Butterflies & Hurricanes
5.Exo Politics
6.Plug In Baby
7.Forced In
8.Bliss
9.Feeling Good
10.Soldiers poem
11.Hoodoo
12.Invincible
13.Supermassive Black Hole
14.Time Is Running Out
15.New Born
16.Stockholm Syndrome Riff
17.Starlight
18.Stockholm Syndrome
19.Take A Bow

Obviously Matt threw in his signature impro riffs and they played around with a few of the songs. A decent set-list but I was pretty gutted they played absolutely nothing from Showbiz! What's with that?

>>By endless_nameless   (Monday, 13 Nov 2006 02:15)

Aww... they missed out uninetended - they should be shot in the foot (they don't need their feet like...)

>>By SweetSerenity   (Monday, 13 Nov 2006 18:59)

hehe yeah me and my mates were pretty disappointed, we hung around after the gig to beat them up! I knocked matt out with one punch, but Chris swung his tree-like arm at me and broke my nose. Dom just stood there and giggled.

* the scenario dictated above may not reflect the actual events of that night

>>By endless_nameless   (Monday, 13 Nov 2006 22:57)

Aww... schade they'd deserve it for sarving you of huge amounts of their old material!

>>By SweetSerenity   (Wednesday, 15 Nov 2006 00:13)

well, you know Chris uses his feet to play Unintended when they do it live coz he plays the main guitar part and does bass with his feet whilst Matt fiddles around making weird noises as he sings :P

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Wednesday, 15 Nov 2006 18:53)

I stilldon'tlike muse as much as H.I.M. even tho they are extremely good.

>>By scarletnikki   (Thursday, 16 Nov 2006 11:16)

HIM suck...no offence. Just not my thing

>>By endless_nameless   (Friday, 17 Nov 2006 02:54)

Boo. If you wanna talk about H.I.M go post in their forum.

:o)~

Only kidding, just don't diss Muse 'cause I think they're far more tallented. But there you go it's my oppinion. Don't gnaw my head off.

>>By SweetSerenity   (Tuesday, 21 Nov 2006 00:15)

sweet serenity> so I have been told , Muse are extremely talented, but they just don't"do it" for me,and sorry nobody bloody talks on the H.I.M page!! haha. Even though Muse have been around a long time ,they are very hot right now. I'll keep on listening to them...

>>By scarletnikki   (Wednesday, 22 Nov 2006 00:06)

Hehe, only messing. I ain't gonna bite your head off for your taste in music like some people.
The reason Muse are popular right now is just 'cause they've released a new album.
That and I know I make all the people I know listen to it!

:o)~
