No, it's even older one, if I recall correctly someone Mige or Zoltan shooted it with a normal video camera and the guys were just fooling and running around in the park and Ville had red hair... I saw the video in a Finnish music-show about 7 years ago but it's stuck in my mind! Hah. So that's why is the best, it has the strongest emotional vibes or something... lol. I don't know what I'm saying. But Wicked Game's bar-video is cool too, it's so bad that it's already genious!

I hope that the new H.I.M album has a less mainstream apperance, and will scare off the little posers running around saying love metal is the best H.I.M album, i hope its something more back to there original roots like gls666, ville valo better do something for the fans that actualy knew about them before a famous skater starting wearing them to success. Im sorry but i will give up all hope on this band if there new album sucks, i just wish they would of never went commercial, i used to like wearing the heartagram before i was classified as a poser~

right, love metal wasn't that bad, but if you take rr or gls and then dsbh and lm, you can see they are completely diferent. if you're asking me, all songs should be like stigmata diaboli. but no one is asking me anything.
heartagram is cool, but it annoys me when (and if) i wear it, you can see like 10 more people with it on their school bags and they also have written something like "in goth we trust" and then name bands like HIM, evanescence, lacuna coil. i mean, i love him, but them being goth or metal? ..... don't think so, especially not after love metal

ye it sounds funny, but it's true ... even tho i might have other theory... after releasing dsbh ville said that all of their album titles mean contradictions, two things that can't be put together, like razorblade (pain) - romance (love), greatest lovesongs (love) - volume 666 (evil), deep shadows (dark) - brilliant higlights (light) so maybe they meant to say love and metal can't go together... or then again, i might just be too hyper and talking stupid stuff

love and metal can definetly go together, sometimes it just doesnt, i think razorblade romance was the only album that was near actually being metal but its more rock or goth or somethin , but i still love it , i dont care what genre its labeled as

i don't think i've ever heard any good metal with love lyrics. even good metal bands did slow music if they planned on song to be love song.

I guess HIM-fans would like Type O Negative, Sisters of Mercy, Black Sabbath, To/Die/For and The 69 Eyes as well... but still HIM is quite unique, there's not so much popular bands who also mix pop and metal together.

I think HIM is the greatest band in the world...i'm from canada so not many ppl even KNOW about HIM!...Ville valo is hot...their music has helped me through alot of tough times...i like how they kinda mix love songs with Metal....They're the best band ever

Yeah, Entwine... and then Charon is also a bit similar to HIM, oh and then Sentenced which is actually better than HIM (umm..) tho it's not "love metal"... their music is more suicidal, hah.

i don't think sentenced are similar to him.. sentenceds music is more goth rock, sometimes has a bit of metal sound added to it.. and singer's voice is diferent than valo's ... and as you said, a bit more suicidal ...

I Disagree with Love Metal being the album that showed they were not metal, I Think the solos sound most metal and the song lengths are your average metal length songs, deep shadows and brilliant highlights was there most furthest away from metal effort, greatest love songs was there best, For love metal HIM dropped everything about there gothic rock sound, I dont think it sounds gothic rock at all.

calling HIM metal is wrong as much as saying that some dance/rave bands you see on tv (scooter for example,i dont watch tv too much lol) are techno. maybe they have some emtal influences but that doesnt make them metal. they have great songs anyhow.

Cool... weren't there some kinda tattoo-thing going on on heartagram.com that one who has a heartagram tatt should take a pic of it and send there or something...
Personally I would not take hgram tatt now, especially in Finland you would get labelled, it seems to be quite common here that teens despise foreign fans cos of their fanaticism and how they wanna get hgams inked on their skins and such... it's weird.

probably because they are so famous in finland, but still here ,most people I know only know of them because of me!! I have a few tatts anyway and already had a tribal design so this just all links in .There is a lot of filigree design around it. why do they despise people? they should be proud,...or is just about trying to be cool?

I think it's cos the Finnish fans "were there before" and they "know" the band better, as some Finnish fans claim. That's pure crap! It makes no difference how long one has been a fan cos it's the music what's relevant...

yeah believe it or not it was the same with david bowie...who was a fan first. naturally people in finland knew him first they werent really heard of here until 2000. If ville didn't want to appeal to us all, he wouldn't sing in english ! there are always people who like to be "the first fan" and 20 years down the line nobody cares anyway! xx
