as far as most HIM fans being posers goes everyone has their own opinion, but as far as what girls see in ville valo it's simply because he's beautiful, not rugged and rough looking and on top of it all he's got this amazingly angelic. He has that low melancholy tone and it's appealing to girls. That soft soothing tone is captivating and girls are drawn to him.

As I say again, HIM fans are not posers just cause they like ville... I don't get how can you call fans a poser, cause if they are HIM fans, they listen and like their music... i mean, if i would think (but luckily i don't) that justin t. was hot, i'd like him, but not his song... just because ville is hot doesn't mean we can't like music he sings, and ville isn't the only in band, but i listen to the whole band.
And bands i listen are mostly hardcore or metal, so why him is my favorite, it is because they are different from my other favorite bands...

No fans consider themselves posers, and I beleive therefor are not posers. The term posers is always put up on a group by outstanders who don't understand the adoration of the this group of people for this band...
Any one who is fan of a band in honesty, not to be part of a group, therefor get's y respect. Tough I might not understand why precisly this band or artist...
So all those people that keep stating that fans of this or any other band for me can shut up. Don't let your own taste decide who is right or who is wrong.. Just try to understand.....

oh man...... this is such a frustrating subject!! him fans aren't posers...they just happen to like a band and some (including me) think that the lead singer is good looking.. there is nothing wrong with that and just because u think that a band member is hot does not make u a poser.... that is all im saying on the matter...

I know this has nothing to do with this subject but today was the audition and i think i did the stupid!!!!But at least i wont get a main part!Fuffffffff!Now i wont tremble every time i step through the school door.Oh!Yes i will!Because teachers are cruel so they might have chosen me for a main part just to ruin my life!Oh!No!Now i can start trembling again!HIM!!!!SAVE MEEEEEEEEE!!!

I agree idontknowdotcom23, just cause girls who are into the band are attracted to the lead singer doesn't make them posers. I love the band, the music is awesome, but I also think Ville is one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen with an amazingly angelic voice that's captivating with it's sweet melancholy tone. Does that me Im not as into the band and the music as anyone else, that I only like the band because of Ville? I don't think so!

That all depends what kinda guys do you like... i mean, if some girls like different type of guys, but like ville, then they surly wouldn't notice him somewhere on the street... but i personally would. And it's not like i'm gonna meet him anyday or whatever, he's just a great looking singer, if i actually meet him he would be too old, or whatever. I don't dream about marrying him or something like that

very very true iva212! it all has to do with taste (in men) haha thats a placebo song!! im really hyper today! oh i was watching tv and flipping through the channels and when i got to kerrang (a music channel) HIM's solitary man was on!!! i dont think he looks THAT bad in it... sure not one of his greatest moments, but he's not as disgusting as i thought he would be..... and the cover isn't all that bad either.... yeah

Have you heard the original yet? You can only judge if a cover is any good when you know the original (or other covers)...
Btw, teacher aren't cruel... most of them are actually quite carring and understanding....
I still believe that looks shouldn't matter, and since you all seem to say they same I wonder why then are you discussing it.
When you wanna hear a true angelic voice you should listen to Jeff Buckley.. He had a much better voice then mr Wanna-Be-Jim-Morrison, and is dead..... (and as far as I can judge, also was quite good looking).

...i am a massive H.I.M fan...i live for them....i've only seen them once live though:'( as i live in scotland.
i do worship the ground ville hermanni valo walks on but...i heard the music years before i ever saw that beautiful man.
i have a question i badly need answered...is ville and susanna still together???...i can only find information from last year and even that wasn't accurate enough for me to find the real answer!!!
i'm not on this sit to argue at all....but i do concider myself as H.I.M's biggest and most loyal fan...as i'm sure alot of you do too...i don't like when alot of people are listening and liking HIM....it means there is less chance for us to meet the band!

I agree with your sweet 666 godess, yes billy martin is alright looking, I guess, but Ville is actually beautiful no matter what. He's flawless with the face of an angel and the most amazing green eyes. He's definitely, in my mind at least, the sexiest and most beautiful man I've ever seen, not to mention that to top it all off he has an amazing talent, he's a good singer and composer and he has the most beautiful voice, it makes me melt every time I hear it (which is quite often considering HIM is like one of my fav bands).

1) I don't tell you what to talk about, I just give my opinion about what you are talking about. When I think looks shoudn't matter, I think I am alowed to say soo..
2) Beleive me, ville does wear make up. As I have been told by my collegeas the whole band had spend alot of time with their make up before going on stage, so be sure that he does wear a lot of make up in video clips and photoshoots.
3) I understood from my collega's that he doesn't have alive voice at all. But that's just hear say, for you know I was watching a nice video instead of going to see HIM...
Still, I must admit I heared a nice song of HIM today. I even asked the sound engineer what 80ties wave band it was he had put on.................

u seem like an amazing person...lol...seen as u agree with me about ville hermanni valo...i have many respects for that man...he is my guardian angel....anytime i feel myself slipping...i just simply look into his mysterious eyes...and i feel whole....but i DO think that HIM without ville would still be my favourite band....even if it's a new song i have never heard and ville's deep poetic meaningful voice hasnt started to sing...i still kno that the band i am listening to is His Infernal Majesty!...they are just a talented bunch of guys!....i would happily die for anyone of them....but my heart truly lies with ville....i once told HIM's tourbus driver that if ville had asked me to jump in front of their bus while it was travelling at an impossible 500 miles per hour i would do it without a second thought...i think this skared john (tour bus driver) a little bit...but it was my way of saying ville is my everything!

I just can't stand them...this "wannabe gothic image" they have is just ridiculous and makes me kind of sick...

they have gothic image only cause goths like to listen to them... they're not pop bands or anything, and they are awsome... next to te cradle of filth my favorite band. and yeah 666 is sign of satan, but if some of you-i'd say who, but then my post would probably got erased- had idea about satanism, you would know that first there was 666 as bad number, sign of pure evil, and then devil worshippers and satanists took it as their symbols, but in different meanings... satanists still take it as evil, and devil worshippers like symbol of devil, which is suposted to be pure evil. so.,.. what to say, you don't deserve to listen to HIM, even if' you'd like them
