sure he's hot... i listened to HIM when i was 13, and i still do it... i listen to goth, rock and metal, and beside cradle of filth and iron maiden, him are my favorite... but i have many bands i really love...

I am sorry, but I think you must be a very boring person if you really believe my age has something to do with wether I like old or new versions.. As in one mail I wrote I do like some covers, but most of them just stink, mainly because the closer you stay to the source the honester the music sounds. People who write and sing the song, are mostly closer to the emotion in the song, and therefor can translate it much better. I know this isn't almost the case, and as I said there are covers that I like (and even believe that are better then the original), but they are few.
Vile being for women is the second stupid remark you can make ofcourse. But this for me only shows something about how you interact with a band (not music!). But then you say that you have your wallpaper with only HIM, which makes me wonder.... My wallpaper is mostly records and CD's, going from releases somewhere in the 1920 (when I surely wasn't born, I can assure you that) to releases that haven't even been released officially at this date. From most popular artist, to artist barely known, but all Good and Honest music. And I am sorry, but indeed I don't classify HIM in that order. Which has nothing to do with me being male, nor me being 27. It is because I don't think they make interesting music, nor something I haven't heard before (and better!)....

i begain to like elvis he was the first person i like in rock music id listen to his music and cry alot but i realised he s not the onlyone and he was dead not hes music ofcourse!
then my first love(in music)was michael jackson i felt hes music dance he is perfect and he did perfect things in music no one majured him
after that i listen to many kinds of style in music evan italian like tot cotugno or eros ramazotti and roxette and ofcourse i liked metallica and bon jovi and gunsn roses and janet and madonna a lot of artists
but no artists beside michael make me feel so good and inlove
than one day i found him band
i didnt like them alot from the begining i grew to like them listen to him music and learning about them i cant like someone just listen them music i ve got to know more about the person thats why are videos movies and publicity
i dont have wallpapers with him i got 2 and i dont use them so much i like animals and i have wallpapers with cats my husband have wallpapes with naked girls and cars
and im 25 so u to know im not a child "anymore"
btw i have a lots of friends around me and most are men i think they all like me cause IM NOT A BORING person

and to campking, no i don't listen to him just cause ville is hot, but because i like their music... but it's same thing when you watch a movie, and actor is hot... it doesn't mean movie sucks because of it, or that he can't act... ville is hot, and he sings great, and HIM makes great music, and you shouldn't care about my wallpapers, because untill now i had iron maiden wallpaper, and before that murderdolls (they're hot too, but not so hot)...

That's not this anomalous, I think...
If you listen to a band, maybe there's someone you like the most (it doesn't matter if it's the look, his talent or whatever, why you like that person...).
There's nothing wrong in it, if there's a cute member in the group that you dote on.
Personal I would never listen to somebodys music, just because he or her is good looking...that wouldn't make any sense...

I never started neither the age question/discussion, nor the part about HIM being more liked by women.
My writings were a reaction to what I was asked. These questions, since they have nothing to do with music, nor the things I wrote about covers, pissed me off.
So there is no problem. (Besides somebody refering to me as baby -oil on fire :))
As far as I know I am on a musicboard and not a HIM fan page, so one can also discuss here when you don't like the music. Why else call it a discussion board. When I am wrong, tell me politely, change the name to HIM-kiss-up-page and I'l be gone....
I am not a fan, but I wanna know why people like HIM. And so farI haven't heard anyone tell me anything that convinced me to give the another chance..
But do please keep trying, as long as you also accept my questions and remarks, they are not to bring you down..... Just challenge me, and I'll try to challenge you....
(And never throw Cat Stevens and Rod Stewart on the same pile again... -:))

3 main reasons i like him:
1. they have good point in their songs
2. they make great songs
3. ville sings great
there are many reasons, but this should be most important... but if you haven't liked it till now, you won't like them later, cause when you hear them first time, you really like them or not, their lyrics and music change, but the point is the same. don't even be bothered to try to like them now

this is so annoying!! we have to spend more time defending the band than actually talking about it! ok people? we like him because theyre a good band, the music is good and ville has a good voice....if u dont like that then thats just tough because u cant do anything about it so theres no point in trying to insult us... no we dont like the band because of how hot ville is. that makes no difference. if ville was the ugliest person in the world, i would still listen to the music cuz its great! oh and when i first really really started liking the band, i had never actually seen ville before... that happened like, 4 weeks after i bought razorblade romance... everybody can have their own opinion about music andf not everybody is going to have the same taste as you. get used to it not everybody is going to like the bands that u like and hate the ones u hate. stop trying to insult the band. it doesnt work and im really not bothered by what u say about why we like the band. u have no right to say why we like him so stop telling us what to like and what not to like. anyway im not even going to say anything more to the haters.....i cant be bothered....dont worry about it iva212! my sister somehow got a picture of the love said no heartagram so ive seen it :) its such a cool color!

I never insulted the band,
I never said I hate the band,
I never had any answer to my questions.
All I did was step in on a covers discussion and got insulted in the mean time, for my opinion being based on my age or me being male (both implying that I don't wanna broaden my view, which is the only reason why I am actually here).

yes ville and mige atract atention because they have a "selling "imagine they are comercial but cute is burton too
and like i said bf first time i d listen to him wasnt that cool for me cause i never heard this kind of music bf for me was a new start
i looked for sites i read the lyrics i liked them
they have very good lyrics and fortune ville wrote them!!!
so he s a f genius!!!
and he is looking good that is not my problem!
but i heard ville singing with another group(not rock)oldies instrumental he really has voice he really can sing diferent
wich for me was good
the man plays drums piano and guitar so he is multitalented
thats why i like ville and he needs his friends to play in a group(he cant play all instruments at once)thats why i like the band ville is the had and everyone knows that but he needs his friends also ville is not him alone all of them created HIM
i like the videos almost everyone but i think the songs and ville s voice doing alot in this band
and ofcourse i like personal stuff ab ville like hes tatoos but i like jhonny depps tatoos also so ville is not the only one with them. and if u stay in the night and cant sleep u should listen to him cause this band is relaxing and i allways fill better after i listen them
and campking i m sorry if u felt offended ab our conversation ofcourse that the age is important and this is not coming from me i read it somewhere on internet and people whom likes him are more between 15 -18 (more girls) cause ville has not a dure face so he looks like a kid sometimes his songs are close to kids problems or to brokenhearts!!!

Ville Valo would look good no matter what. Beard or no beard he's just a beautifully sexy man with an amazing voice like an angel and his music rocks. He carries that bad boy rock n roll image inside the body of a god with the face and voice of an angel. He's truly a unique human being with the most amazing green eyes I've ever seen!
