I AM A NEWBIE and i know that earlier in these pages there was a discussion about Ville being GAy! WHICH IS SO NOT TRUE I love Ville and believe me he is not bisexual.. just like when christina and britney and madonna kissed on stage does that mean they're lesbians? i didn't think so and on one else does... mabey the kiss was just a publicity stunt mabey he thought it would turn chicks on... but you ppl needa send me these pictures of Valo kissing another guy to see if their reall or not. I'm pissed.. People keep thinking that Valo's a satinist but in his biographys it clearly states that vol. 666 is not made with 666 because ... of satan... altough it means satan if you go to their websit and read the band's boigraphy all abou tthe stuff ur talking about.. and if u all truely loved Ville then u wouldn't be saying these things behind his back! it's cruel fo ryou people to do this! believe me he loves his fans i can tell... in their biography it also says why they chose the heartagram for their band sign... so for those who don't know the heartagram is not the BAM sign it's the HIM sign for sure! O ya and i found a picture of this so called satinaist yo uppl think Valo is wearing a shirt with jesus on it!

Ville is the main man and doesn't care about the other band memebers true or false?
Of course I'd like to stress out the fact that HIM is a band and not Ville Valo's one-man show, as some journalists might make us believe. Sure, he gets all the credits for writing the songs, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the other members don't have anything to say about the musical direction. And Ville would still be nothing without his friends in the band.
The fact that so much is being written about Ville is because he always takes the lead in interviews and is a true frontman. So naturally he gets most attention in the media. He IS the story that's worth writing about for the papers and the magazines!

Ville's appearance seems to automatically bring up the question: "Is Ville gay?" To which I have to answer: Does it matter?" Marianne aka Tragic Supergirl, my lovely friend, told me she'd heard someone say (rumour creating...) Ville quoting the next phrase: "I'm a bi-sexual man who's never had a homosexual experience." Sounds familiar? Could well be, because the exact same quote was originally used by Brett Anderson from Suede in 1992!
So what about this lyfestyle of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll that seems to surround the band's image?
Well, alcohol must be one of their main influences. Anyone know their favourite drinks?
Sex? Ville says he lost count of the amount of girlfriends he's had sofar, but I actually believe he's just being big-mouthed. Ville seems to be more of a family man. He once admitted that he sees a future for him that's more ordinary and steady.

i dont see a problem in men kissing other men i had an experience like that im a girl and ive been kissed by a girl and is not so bad
it is just an experience and i like men in fact im married wth one
i think that for some people is just curiosity kissing persons of the same sex

I think ville and jussi 69 are great couple! I mean,they're not couple, but i wish they were, both are so hot! I think he said he is bisexual, and he can't be gay cause he had girlfriend, but i think he has right to choose who will he kiss, and i don't care is he straight,gay, bi or whatever, his lyrics still rock!

HES NOT GAY FOR GODS SAKE!!! he had a girlfriend called sarah for ages but she died in a car crash a few years ago...all of his songs r written for her... hes not gay!!! i dont know... i saw "Bam and Ville Making the Video" today on MTV2... it was v v funny :) Bam was like taking the piss outta ville's accent...he called ville "wille walo" and he said "wille walo is riding in a wolwo conwertable in hollyvood" it was v v funny i love bam heehee

Bam is a little bit obsessed with ville, if you haven't noticed... and i don't like bam, jussi is much fiter!

Jussi - drummer from 69 eyes... he is hot, and he and ville kissed. They asked jussi in some inteview is ville good kisser, and he replied something like " I can honestly say to all gothic girls out there that ville is great kisser" ... that would mean ville is great kisser, and he also likes girls :)

And buried alive by love wasn't that great, but it was good video, and sacrament... wht happened to their imagination? Their older videos rocked! Join me, gone with the sin, and pretending are one of the best videos ever... like all other him videos, maybe only cradle of filth had better... but i'm honestly disappointed with new ones... the only good thing in sacrament is that ville takes his shirt off, but it's not worth it...

oooh thanks iva212 :) hahaha hot and a good kisser lol :) yeah i actually didnt like babl ....its ok just not one of their best songs.... i liked the join me video a lot :) and the funeral of hearts as well cuz he looks sooo hot in it and its really pretty and snowy :) haha pretending was a good video too and i am quite dissapointed with the new videos... i dont care though because it doesnt take away from the -amazing- songs :) thanks for the input on jussi iva212 anyways :)

I have been listening to some HIM songs since he is going to do a show in my town this month, and I still think that he is a copy cat of some eighties bands who did the same thing much better. I wonder how it is that these bands get popular and why people keep falling for it. Is it because people only wanna hear what they already know, or are people just to lazy to check out new things?

And i like HIM, because... they're HIM... and they make great songs, and ville writes amazing lyrics. Maybe they have comercialized a little now, but i still love them...
The funeral of hearts was great video! I don't know wwhy ville took off shirt in sacrament, cause he is much hotter in foh, even with all clothes on, and they shouldn't hire bam to do their videos... never again...

Well, if that's what you think... i think they are great, and in their songs lyrics are much more important then music. They made a lot of covers, but except don't fear the reaper (maybe something else, but i can't rememeber now), they did it only on their concerts... and it is fun, if you ask me.

who cares if theyre copying old stuff! everybody has to get something from somwhere and everythings already been done! so of course everythings gunna sound like SOMETHING else...everything sounds like something and its not because theyre "copying" it, its cuz everything has already been done! so ha i win :) and yes bam shouldnt do their videos...much as i love him and good of a video maker he is, he isnt very good with the creativity..maybe if somebody else wrote the videos, he could just shoot them and stuff..yeah thats wut i think anyway....hohoho

Please don't start on the lyrics, because if something would be a weak point it would be the boring and predictable lyrics....
Besides Copying is not the same as doing covers (which is also not a sign of orginality, but oke. I am guilty myself on that one), copying is not being smart enough to make something up yourselves and then stealing ideas from others...... and most of the time it also means being worse then the one you copy....

ville said that they do some guitar solos in their songs similar to some from the older bands, cause that's their way to show someone respect, but they only change it a little bit... anyone here knows how do you read ville or jussi in finnish?

indeed...i dunno...its really annoying wen u go on google, and u type in Ville Valo if ur bored or summat and just feel like finding sites or r trying to find something out about the band, and half of the things r in finnish and the translater thing wont work....its annoying yeah i dont kno finnish anyway....yeah ok
