hello, i dont know too much about linken park, although what i do know is that they are a good band. to be honest my all time fave band is our lady peace (check them out, their great!) anyway, i am a obsessed fan of OLP and linken park will come 2ed to this wonderful band. thats a good thing ya know-to come 2ed to OLP.

Hey, it looks as though Dog Shit Bro is pretty much the only hater left here. Feeling lonely? Linkin Park is an amazing band. Their music is full of meaning and they have solid integrity, which is something neither the girlie boy bands of today nor the drug-based bands of the 70s had. They're just floating on thin air, instead of living in the real, harsh world like Linkin Park do. Think about it: a ROCK band should be down to EARTH, shouldn't it, or flying on cloud nine? Brazilman, save us all our time by not typing completely dumass statements that reek of your stupidity. I like linkin park sort of, they are not my favorite, but i like, maybe 2 songs. But i've gotta hand first prize over to inu-onjj-chan. And second grader (in the United States of America...my home.....don't diss it) is kind of self explanatory. Grade of the second, second year of scholl not counting kindergarten. ie: you are about 7 or 8 years old. And, how can you , mix up sarcasm and rhetoricism, they are, quite frankly, very different. Also, just because someone knows alot about gey people doesn't mean they are gay, it means they know alot about gey people. In reality, there is not that much to KNOW about gay people: they like people of their own sex and....yeah...thats about it, are you gonna call me gay now. Honestly, gain some intelligence before you post again.

Yes, i get a small bit of fun pointing out who ridiculous some people are. I notice that you like Good Charlotte, would you like me to rant on that, because it would be quite easy.
They are posers for the following reasons:
They try to follow the style etc... of the punk band Rancid
The majority of their songs are about teen love, or doing something stupid like killing a guy because for some chick valentine...ooo, bloody, deep (not)
They have the same sound as many other pop punk bands such as simple plan, sum 41, blink 182, etc. For example, they sing about how they don't want to be like any body else, just like all the other bands sing about how they don't want to be like any body else.
NO ORIGINALITY WHATSOEVER.
Good Charlotte is full of hipocrisy.
And i think the position of saddest person on earth would go to the person who can't even spell someone's name right, or is at least to lazy.....the guy is inu-onjj-chan, not Inchachanga...all you have to do is copy paste dearest, not that difficult.
P.S. i don't try to make people feel stupid, the stupidity is their own fault, i just take the liberty of pointing it out.....cheers darling

i forgot to mention that i, also, liked a FEW songs on that Cd. but then again, that was when i liked Eminem(thats a whole nother sad story) but only 2 songs...but those 2 songs, they turned me to korn, then to the Misfits, then to CKY(still one of my fave) Which turned me to Judas Priest, and here is where i am now. so...i guess because of linkin park breaking the traditonal boy band angst and love crap, i became a metal head! haha...
P.S. and Artemis i agree when u said those bands were all the same(and to me, superficial) especially good charlotte, man those guys are dumbasses. especially the one with that spikey hair. god, i wanna toss it all over the floor everytime i see them.
(sadly, i used to catch them every night after Jackass, the only good thing on MTV)

I'm not going to deny that teenage girls steal integrity from a band's image (that's my girlfriend stealing from GC's image then), but I'm glad that they keep Linkin Park alive. I have to admit that they're not the best band in the world, and a lot of people don't seem to like them, but I like them. If it weren't for teenage girl fans I guess Linkin Park might not still be around. So I have to be grateful to them on one count. Damn. Yes, Linkin Park have a lot of bad points, like the inability to write new original songs and all of their songs are pretty much the same. But I like to listen to them, so I occasionally feel like defending their music.

lol Don't worry skye, we all still love you. *grins ridiculously* And that's a damn good point about not singing about girls: even Rocketgoldstar have songs about girls and as far as I can tell they're piscexuals (Is that spelled right? It means they like fish). Anyway, I think Linkin Park have failed to do this because of their general failure to write songs about anything. They can rap and rock together and make it saleable, but they seem incapable of writing anything heterosexual. Maybe they really ARE gay... But that's cool with me, I wasn't interested in a relationship with my own lookalike anyway.
LP suck at writing new songs (hence the remixes) and they also suck at song titles (High Voltage isn't very original and Points of Authority is a terrible name) but By Myself is a truly great name. I wonder what style they use to name their songs... I also don't like some of their art. If Mike Shinoda is on here *bows down*, perhaps he would in his infinite wisdom care to tell me the answer to the ultimate question: "Why all the soldier boys?"

This is supposed to be about Linkin Park, but I love Rocketgoldstar and there isn't a discussion about them. They don't do anything explicit, but they do go underwater and hug fish. It's not normal, but the music is good.
Anyway, this discussion is about Linkin Park, not the disgusting fish habits of Rocketgoldstar. Linkin Park are totally awesome.
