Dresden is a fucking toy. Stop taking the piss out of Linkin Park. Love to hear you play/sing/rap better. #7 Faint on Meteora is Phat! I love the beginning! Re-animation was one of my favourite albums since Hybrid Theory. Meteora is also mad, just got it a month ago or so. Listen to Linkin Park, they are the best band in the world.... despite Dresden putting a downer on everything they put together. By the Way Lee Mc obviously knows his shit, cos this Dresden fella is a toy.

I've already explained like 3 times why Linkin Park, and all those other shitty rap-rock bands blow. I've got no time to sugar coat it for you, i'm too busy saving the world from shitty pseudo-rock bands.
As for my favorite bands: Nirvana, At The Drive-In, Tool, Cave-In, Fugazi, The Shinns
....Just to name a few.
They're all creative, original, and legitimate bands (i.e. they weren't fabricated by some record company to make money, like Linkin Park).

Rock on, Dresden. At least someone here has at least an iota of common sense, not to mention the brain power required to spell words correctly and at least make a stab at punctuation.
Don't worry, LP fans - in a couple of years time, you'll grow out of listening to tripe like this and might progress onto some real music. Lord knows, you might even grow out of wearing hoodies and baggy Sk8ter-Boi jeans - maybe you'll even start washing.
Might be too much to hope for, though.

I won't totally ditch linkin park cuz I think "crawling" isnt that bad. but still, I hate their latest 2 albums: "reanimation" n "meteora". they suk in those 2. I think they r tryin 2 hard to make "DJ effects". again, not much offense, but "somewhere I belong" sux 2. everytym it plays in TV I feel sick n change d channel. I really think dat linkin park has 2 go back 2 basic instead of makin up new stuff dat dont fit them. BTW, I agree wit d idea dat Mike Shinonda sings like a wounded cow, I don't lyk him 2.

If someone else were writing Linkin Park's songs, wouldn't their names be on the song credits? I mean, there is clearly "Music: LINKIN PARK, lyrics:CHESTER BENNINGTON AND MIKE SHINODA", not anybody else. In the music business one thing is sure; If somebody writes your music and lyrics, his name is going to be in the credits. I make an example: There's a rock band, called Zug Izland. They do their own music, but lyrics are written by Violent J and he is not a member of this band. He doesn't appear on concerts, he doesn't write music, he doesn't help them in the studio. Violent J just writes and sends the lyrics to Zug Izlands singer. " Music: Zug Izland, Lyrics: Violent J". Linkin Park just has got so much money, that they can afford to all these high-technology machines in their recording studio, so they can make their music sounding perfect. That's just the way it is.

Read the Rolling Stone article! These guys couldn't be much more blunt about saying they're a fake, pre-fab, made for the mall band. They also say that only 2 guys in the band write any of the songs, the other guys just smile and do the lame nu-metal head bob to impress 14 year olds.

Ya'll can diss Linkin Park as much as you wan't, but nobody can deny, that their thing is working and they are going to have a long and succesful career. That's a fact, and haters can't do shit about it, but keep whini' how fake they are. And i know plenty of over 20 year olds, who like Linkin Park's sound. I listen Linkin Park, bcoz' their songs have somethin', that intrests me. Every band and artist have their haters and all the fans just should ignore all the bullshit that comes out from people who don't understand them.

I think Linkin Park is takin' the samplin' art to a whole new level. It's just awsome, how Joe keeps puttin' those cool sounds together with the actual song. And Mike is best Nu-Metal rapper there is!

I think Linkin Park has broken new grounds in making music. No band that I can think of makes music similar to it. I have to say that Joe Hahn is a very talented DJ because I have been practicing things on synthesizers and turntables for the past 3 years and I understand how much they put into there music. All there music is written by them but when they take it to the studio the people that they hire tell them to fix certain things and they rewrite songs over and over again until they get it right. I know that each member of the band puts in a lot of hard work and dedication into there songs, whether people like them or not is there own opinion. I happen to like the music that makes them. Linkin Park should not be put into this new metal genre because Linkin Park is trying to close the gap on genre's. I give them much credit for putting together a well rounded form of music that incorporates every style of music that has influenced them. It has certainly changed dramatically from when they had started. Mike Shinoda is a very good rapper he has the voice of a rapper anyone that thinks Mike Shinoda can't rap go to a rap concert and listen to them live they don't sound that good and if you listen to linkin park mike sounds a lot better then most rappers out there. Everyone in this discussion group needs to lighten up a little and start enjoying music and if they don't like linkin park just get out of this discussion group. Yeah, i agree with you, ivnoh. If you compare Linkin Park to bands like Limp Bizkit, you can tell the difference. When Limp Bizkit is concentratin' on playin' hard hittin' rock with a lil' scratchin' now and then, Linkin Park is creatin a whole different level on the songs with Joe's turntables. They also try not to be these hard ass rockers, coz' they wanna do music with beautiful melodies, slow tempos, hiphop beats melted with singin' and rappin'. If i wanna music that has more hard metal guitars and screamin', i listen Slayer. But if i wan't sumthin' more gentle and melodic, i choose Linkin Park, no doubt!

In my opinion, Hybrid Theory had more hit-songs than Meteora will ever have. Even though, Somewhere I Belong and Faint are very good songs. But still love to listen songs like Crawling, In The End, Runaway and Pushing Me Away.
