just look back through the board...
just a teensy backround info, theyre a band from finland and the lead singer is called Ville valo. they play sort of...soft metal, or, as they call it "Love Metal"
as you might have guessed from their "genre" they sing about love and/or death a lot of the time. bam margera has connections with them because him and Valo are good friends. that is the only connection apart from the fact that Bam directed a few of HIM's videos.

holdingmybreath - yeah i know, but there's a discussion board called 'ville valo' so i felt that that was an important bit of information. she can do her own research to discover the other band members.
favorite song is probably wicked game. lately i've been listening to "beautiful" a lot. i don't know why, because its not a fantastic song, but its very catchy i suppose. i really like join me too...and poison girl... i dont knooow thats difficult

I have a jacket like that, nearly lost it at the gig I was so pissed!! but my friend found it on the floor and the lining is now covered in ciggy burns (adds to the authenticity)

You know what I absolutely hate? When everyone talks about HIM like Ville is the only one in the band. Don't forget Lazer, Gas, Mige, Burton, you know, the actual instrument players? I mean, Ville is an amazing person when it comes to writing lyrics and singing but give the others credit at least. Also, there's more to HIM then Ville's looks. You "angst-ridden" fourteen year olds need to give it up. Sure he's gorgeous but hey, appreciate the depth of the music too.

weve been around this discussion before lazer (check out previous pages) not everyone is 14, and at the end of the day him would be nothing without ville he IS him . no dought that all the pthers are brilliant musicians tho.

ville has his own discusion, but even though i highly appreciate all other band members (especially lily cause he rocks) but how easy they replaced juska, and lot of "so called fans" didnt notice... but if they replaced ville, who writes most of lyrics and SINGS people would notice, cause it would just be diferent.. and no, were not 14 years old (im 16 =P ) and we dont care about villes looks, he is hot, but that doesnt mean we dont like the music... its the same like saying to someone "if you think actor is hot, you cant like the movie he is playing in"

Yeeeey, I found Daniel Lioneye's album today, lucky me! I can't say Ville is the "coolest" member of HIM because I'm a huge fan of Linde. He's just so great.
The HIM-book is called "Synnin viemää" but I dunno is it translated, if it is the title might be "Gone With the Sin", it's a straight translation though...
My favourite songs are Sigillum Diaboli, Fortress of Tears, Razorblade Kiss and umm... oh there's so many! I love the songs Ville sung in 2001, he made some Finnish folk-music covers... sings in Finnish...

i think ville really is the most important member of the band. he writes the songs and hes the frontman , hes kind of the image of HIM. im not saying that the other guys arent important , they most definetly are , but ville just seems to be the one the band focuses around. everyone is important in the band in their own way.
