I think Ville Valo is an excellent songwriter, but why don't the rest of the band write any of the songs? How do so many people manage to spell my name wrong, even though it's at the bottom of each post? "sk8r h8r or w/e your name is" is just shameful. And why is everyone being so mean to me? They're just employed musicians, like Avril Lavigne's backing band. Ville Valo would deserve more credit as a solo artist, but he pretends he's in a proper band. brokenvalo666: "ppl like you" What type of person am I? >>By Sk8a H8a no theyre not... other bands members write music for their solos on songs... and on concerts >>By iva212 no they're not sk8a h8a! that's why they aren't called "Ville Valo" they're called HIM!!!! the rest of the band (yes band) contribute to the songwriting and to the entire band's performance....if it weren't for one of the band members, there wouldn't be a band! they aren't hired because they are all friends who decided to form a band, and aren't "hired" by a record company! the only thing that ville valo writes by himself is the lyrics (even so, the band probably throws in a few suggestions) and most bands have one person who provides most of the lyrics! plus, the band members are permanent! with people like avril lavigne, guitarists are replaced and stuff without anybody knowing or noticing!
