WELL, THE CASUALTIES ARE A GOOD STREET PUNK BAND, BUT YAH THEIR OLD SHIT IS ALOT BETTER, WHO CARES HOW THEY DRESS, OR HOW LONG THEIR SPIKES OR MOHAWKS ARE!!!!!!, LISTEN TO WHAT THEIR SAYING, THEIR TALKING ABOUT THE SCENE AND TO KEEP IT ALIVE, AND UNITY OF PUNX, AND THE CASUALTIES ARE POSERS? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT, HOW IS THAT? THEY LOVE PUNK ROCK MUSIC, THEY LOVE THE PUNK SCENE, THEY KEEP HARD SRTEET PUNK TRUE, THOSE WHO CALLED THEM FASION PUNX, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU INTERESTED IN WHAT THEIR WEARING, EITHER YOU LIKE THEM OR NOT, IF YOU DONT THEN FUCK OFF!!!!!

>>By GERM PUNK   (Friday, 20 Jun 2003 01:08)

I don't have any problem with the way they dress..mohawks and spikes and all that are cool but with no brain to back it up, and shitty lyrics with absolutely no meaning..there is a problem. people blindly follow them and repeat what they say..for instance kill a hippie or a crusty..they say unite the punks..(not punx)..but if they really wanted unity they wouldn't be so fucking ignorant about hippies involved in the scene and the wouldn't be so hateful about crust punks...its actually very hypocrtical..there is more to like than drinking and sleeping with womyn..which i think the casualties haven't figured out.

(note the spelling of womyn is not a typo but a result of feminist conscience).
PEACE

>>By Gabby   (Friday, 20 Jun 2003 05:13)

FUCK YOU hypocrtical CUNTS. most of you people you talk shit about the casualties go to there shows. buy there records. shirts. and whatnot. and when youre at the shows why dont u have the fucking balls to tell the casualties themselves what you think about them instead of hiding behind a monitor.

>>By Johan   (Saturday, 21 Jun 2003 22:01)

WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN NO GOOD LYRICS THAT MEAN NOTHING?, YOUR STUPID AS SHIT, THEY SING ABOUT HOW LIFE IS FOR THEM ON THE STREETS, AND THE UNITY OF PUNX THAT I HOPE HAPPENS SOMEDAY!!, BUT YAH, WELL ALMOST ALL PUNX HATE HIPPIES, THE CASUALTIES, BELIEVE IN CHAOS, AND HIPPIES ARE THE TOTAL OPPOSITE OF CHAOS, THEIR ABOUT PEACE AND CRAP LIKE THAT!

I SAID IN THE BOOK, IT SAYS WHAT THEY USE IN THERE FUCKING HAIR YOU CUNT.. i NEVER SAID I FOLLOW IT! and besides some one asked what they use for their hair..i never said i had a fucking problem with them, now look at it this way, they play at shows, with sum41, blink 182, transplants, used, umm.. you tell me thats not fucking sold out... who gives a shit if they havn't signed to a major recording label... now when you go outside, everyone has on a casualties shirt.. AND WTF DO YOU MEAN I CANT SPELL CASUALTIES, <- - - cause i just fucking did cunt.. lol so what, now you gotta be cool to hang out with your fans? i never said they didn't, plenty of me friends have drank with them, everyone always says " lets see you start a band and what would you choose to do?" so, what ur sayin is its ok for them to sellout, cause you fucking would too? ok reserve punk, i wanna see u start a band and go to warped tour, i guarantee u'll feel so gay if your before GC and simple plan.. so stfu ass

>>By Angry Youth   (Sunday, 6 Jul 2003 10:33)

i don't give a shit about the casualties their just, sexist drunken bastards..but anyways what the hell is so wrong with crusty punks. crust punk is incredible, it has meaningful intelligent lyrics. Those who agree with that will actually be the ones who make a change in this state. The casualties may go around saying fuck the system but all they do is drink. They will make no difference without more knowledge and activism. Starting with Crass and then with many more crust bands, punk became more of a real threat rather than just living on the street and getting drunk. They have made punk into one of the most politically and socially aware countercultures. If you would just talk to crusty punks you would see that they are usually intelligent people who really do want to see change in the world because they care about other humyns and animals. . And I don't go around saying fuck street punk. I think it fucking rocks too!! If you actually look at what a lot of bands have to say from the two "scenes" you would see that there actually is a lot of agreement.
A lot of punks into the street scene believe in chaos..It seems to me that many peopel are just mimicking what soem bands say rather than acutally thinking aobut what they would want..but what the hell is the point of that, it would be no better that the fucked up state of the world today. Working anarchy would gurantee freedom and peaceful coexistence. To say you want chaos is ignorant. It would just be non stop violence. On the otherhand if humyns learned to respect one another and their rights we could slowly work towards autonomy and anarchy over centuries. We could see an end to the exploitation, mindless and uncaring power, and the hate, violence and corruption that are so prevalent in today's society. It would essentially be better for everyone.
So everyone should stop being so fucking ignorant and arrogant. You say "unite the punx" and then won't accept crusties, could you be anymore fucking hypocritical???? And many crusties can be viewed as hippies. But what the hell is wrong with that?? open up you closeminded fucks.look around the world?? does punk seem to be making any difference. It won't until EVERYONE unites ..not just "punx" but all those who live the punk life and want to see change.

well to crusties and peace punks it's more than just music..its a way of life..music is just one form of expression...the casualties music is good though..they just suck lyrically.. about 10 years actually isn't that long..lots of bands have been around since the early 80's and are still going..like the exploited

>>By guy   (Wednesday, 16 Jul 2003 08:27)

what point do you agree with?

>>By Gabby   (Thursday, 17 Jul 2003 01:40)

the idea that everyone in the punk life must unite to actually make things start to change.

>>By guy   (Thursday, 17 Jul 2003 06:32)

yeah..that's important..problem is so many "punks" are just into it for the fashion and don't really care about the values and beliefs that make it the movement that it is. they think its about who's mohawk is tallest and getting drunk,,the look is fun. i think spikes, spiked hair, patches are awesome..god form of expresion. but it's not enough. apathy is a large problem in society, too bad it is becoming a large problem in the punk scene..so many people don't care about making a change.

but for those who do unity is important. the casualties say "unite the punx" but then say kill a crustie, who are punks just the same and often care much more about the politics and beliefs instead of just whining about living on the street..and who is "more punk". and preaching about getting drunk. unity will only happen when street punks and crust punks can learn to accept eachother and work together. some of the ideals of the two scenes are slightly different and crust punks seems to focus more on the politics..but they are similar enough.

and the casualties say.."kill a hippie", some of those hippies they are talking about are crusties..but for the ones that aren't, they are cool too, many of them care about the same issues and want to see the same change,,uniting with them would be important,,instead of all this damn hate.. we need to make a difference in this world..the inhumanity, expolitation of people's rights, this fucking system, destruction of our enviornment, and all the hate and injustice need to stop!

>>By old ways   (Monday, 21 Jul 2003 23:56)

i was at the show in worcester, mass on the saturday the 19th...i think that the studs and all that is cool but some people are in it just for the fashion..and some people spend way too much on their "punk clothing". it's a way of life and a lot of people who don't underrstand that are calling themselves punk..when they don't understand anything about it,,,it's just sad..punk starts to lose its value..i think the politics of punk and the attitude make it what it is,,the whole anti-society outlook is important and society is turning "punk" into another mainstream capitalist trend..we need to unite against that among other things which i don't need to say because i think you get it

What's up with this unity crap? At what point were punks not united? Politics is a load of shit anyways. It's 98% propaganda, 2% politics and 100% BS. I know, because I used to be in it. All you pc crusties make me sick. You're a bunch of neoliberal fools that are hellbent on censoring everything.

As far as the Casualties, go, I thought they were a great band. That is until I found out that they're liars. They each have 12 pairs of tigers of london bondage pants. Tigers of london bondage pants are NOT cheap! Try about $65+! Why in the HELL should and would anyone pay that much for a pair of bondage pants when he could either A) Find some at a thrift store or B) Make his own or C) beat the shit out of a rich kid and take em. They (The Casualties) can afford all those bondage pants and gear and this and that, but they complain about their ride breaking down? If they put there money where their mouths were, they'd have rides.

We all thought the biggest threat to punk was MTV. But MTV is now only a secondary threat. The biggest threat is closer than we could've possibly imagined. We knew places like the GAP and Hot Topic were cashing in on us and our way of life. But never once did we look at places like dogpile and punkcore. Never once did we see that the exact same thing was happening at the very places that so many of us supported.

>>By Gary Destruction   (Thursday, 31 Jul 2003 07:35)

fuck all you who say any bands a sellout, especially the casualties. your are obviously incompetent to see the obvious. what do you think any bands goal is when they first start? to become famous and able to entertain as many people as they can reach. you are fucking stupid for thinking a band is a sellout for just going on some stupid ass tv show or playing anywhere else but local clubs.

>>By bryan   (Thursday, 31 Jul 2003 18:03)

Everyone who is hateing on the Casualties can lick the sweat off my balls after i get out of the circle pit

>>By a-f Street Punk   (Saturday, 11 Oct 2003 02:19)

to Gary Destruction: you are an idiot, obviously the casualties are rich and famous so why not buy whatever the hell they want? trying to say what they can and cannot buy is just setting an example for what all punk rock is about. You are being a fascist communist and not realizing that the only way this country works to the extent that it does is it's economy. Rich people buying $65 pants is what makes the economy work and what provides you with food in your cubboard and a fucking roof over your head! stop trying to destroy waht you know fucking nothing about. Furthermore who the fuck cares about threats to punk rock as long as you go to concerts, buy CD's and in any way support the bands that are still out there the punk rock scene will keep on thriving. You can do your part by getting other people to start liking punk rock and not turning into a poser yourself. If you're scared of "threats" to punk rock then you should get a life and get some faith for what you believe in. Stay a punk and punk will never be dead...even if you're the only one out there.
