it's not about how much $ they get, it's the message they are sending. they are telling you to think for yourself. i think toxic narcotic said it best in their song "talk is poison idea" when they said..."...until you start your own band, you will have no idea... people who are always yelling sellout, who are you working for to pay your rent and bills? i bet it's corporate so you're a sellout too..." and if you don't have a job then you probably have rich parent who give you everything anyway and you have no right to diss someone for making a living. and as far as mtv goes it could be for the best, maybe by putting their music out they will open some of the trendy fuckers eyes and help them see the truth and teach them how to think for themselves! and as far as warped tour some of the meanest fucks play there like murphy's law and agnostic front and shit. they know what they want and what they believe in. besides they are doing what they love. if they want to play music who are you to say where they can and cannot play you facist nazis! who the fuck died and made you hitler of punk?! you can't control the bands! that's against everything punk fucking stands for! fuck authority, fuck listening to people telling you what you can and cannot do and how you have to be to be punk! it's a WAY OF LIFE!!!!!!!!! and the casualties are living it! you think they're in it to please you?! fuck that! they're in it for themselves! they're doing it to make themselves happy. fuck what other people say... the human race sucks!

hey monk, he's not telling you how to live he's telling you how he lives! it the way of life for him, i don't recall him ever saying inorder for you to be punk you have to be live us. and if they call themselves punks then fine who are you to say that by doing that it makes them a poser. and TANKED AND POGOED, what makes you think that just because a band plays at warped tour it means they don't get drunk? and drinking is a way of life... not THE way of life, but a possible choice of lifestyle. why do you guys think that they are trying to tell you what to do? i would have to say that personally i think they are telling you to live how you want to live and not do what people tell you to do. and if you can't get that out of their lyrics then you aren't listening to the message they are sending and you're probably just looking for reason to call bands/people who are more harcore than you posers. all that calling them sellouts is just a penis-extender to you.(you're trying to make up for you're insecurities.)

Ah....The Casualties! A good loud angry streetpunk band. Sure their lyrics may be stupid...but I still like their music. There may be better streetpunk bands with more intelligent lyrics and infinitely smarter politics, but all in all, the Casualties succeed in being fast and angry and that's still punk rock. Fun to kick ass to.

I personaly met the casualties and hung out with them when they played in my hometown. They never sold out, and, they're still the hardcore bastards they were 10 years ago. Although their new stuff isn't their best it still kicks ass. Fuck you all for thinking twice. You two-face assholes.

ok, there is this kid in my school and his name is Doug Quill. He thinks he is the only punk in the school, when really, he isn't a punk at all. My opinion abouth The Casualties, if anyone cares.....
There first CD was really good, one of my first punk CDs. Since then they have been going downhill. several times Jorge was beaten up behind the venue they played at because he got drunk and tried to rape a girl. This happened 3 times. Jorge speaks with a Fake British accent to try to be more punk rock i guess. And before anyone starts saying that i havent met them, I have, and they are not the greatest people in the world all they do is gawk at women and try to have sex with 15 year olds.
