Who the hell cares if the Sex Pistols made punk "popular." Punk isnt meant to be popular and what not. If you're only listening to it because its popular then I am very very sad for you cuz you're gonna get screwed over one of these days.
So screw whats popular and do what you want.

I think that the Sex Pistols has become more and more popular during these two decades, after their break-up. I really like that despite they couldn't really play or sing, they still made something that was more music than eg. Britney Spears's songs can ever be. And Sid Vicious legen will live on and on, so I really do adore the group and their talents to be real.

Definitely Catri ... they might not have been the best of musicians but they had a message that made their music better than most. They were exactly what the music industry and the world needed.
