another thing too in case noone has noticed,glen matlock and steve jones and paul cook were in the band too ya know? but no one mentions them at all?i fyour all such die hard fans why dont u ever talkj about them? i mean steve jones and paul cook fucking started that great punk band in 1972,anyways im not trying to rude but fuck why dont u talk about them?

this little note of mine goes out to vanrvrgoodchez69,OKAY lets get this straight the sex pistols were one of the greatest punk bands(still alive but anyways)and they did not invent punk,the first ever real punk band as far as i know were the ramones,now i know this is off subject but i mean give them some gratitude too ,they were wicked too,anyways rice pudding is right punk did not start in the 70's try maybe the early 60's even a lil bit before then,but we never heard about it cause ppl were all into that shitty pop crap or whatever.and punk is dead by the way(have you heard any decent punk bands now adays?(dont say gob or any crap like that)actually i take that back punk is anything you want to be,or whatever its not all being anti christ or an anarchist thats just most of it.Anyways punk is dead which is really sad dont ya think?

Actualoly he just smoked weed n stuff, he didnt actually do heroin, and sid was the only one who didnt actually play there instrument, the musics ok but the clash is way better, you all are fuck faces because you guys ruin what punks have in my opion you all are probly teddy boys, and yu probably dress up every night in your moms clothing listening to avril lavign and suck on big dongs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

god dammit, punk really is dead. The only thing the sex pistols ever did was commercialize the punk scene to make money. And every single punk discussion i go to is full of arguments and fights. everyone calls everyone else a poser. the whole point to anarchy (which the pistols knew nothing about) is no rules. And u guys just set up more rules and trends on "how to be a TRUE punk." I guess the scene is really good where im from cuz when i go to a show, I meet new people and everyone accepts eachother. Nobody is fighting over whos more punk. I guess the internet is just a place for elitist "punks" to bitch at eachother anonnymously. everyone chill the fuck out. to keep the scene alive u gotta keep it fun and keep it open to anyone.
