Oh, I do love Reise Reise. I think Moskau is my favourite too.
My mate said: "Wilder Wein (live version), Mein Herz Brennt, Ich Will, Los, God knows how many other Rammstein songs. What do all of these have in common? The cool guitar effect that makes the song sound sooo German!! Never before has Nazidom been so full of honour! I freaka leekin' love all of those songs, but which others are there? Anyway, I wanna be able to do that with my guitar so I'll find out what effect it is before I buy an effects pedal." Any help on his question?

Ok, this goes back to the early pages of this forum. . .Live Aus Berlin and Eva_Tier hit the nail on the head as far as Rammstein go. I will say that yes, I am an American with German blood throbbing through my veins, and I feel sorry for all of you that would think to bash Rammstein on this forum by saying that they are Anti-American and are Nazi's yadda yadda. You people are looking for sympathy or a fight or something and have very sad strange little lives. Fact is, Rammstein has been my absolute favorite band since the early days of High School. Rammstein themselves provoked me to learn German to the best of my ability and have created a sense of German pride within myself. Thing is, in America anyone can be anything they want, that's what makes it a great country, albeit a mixed one. The new Rammstein album kicks ass, i love it and can't get enough. . . .a toast to a very long and prosperous Rammstein career ! ! !

Wow, looking back on some of the stuff i wrote a year ago.....I still agree with some of it, and some of it makes me feel like a fucking idiot. Hahaha.
So, i got my hands on the Mein Teil single a while ago, and i cant say im impressed. Oh well, what can you expect from a "Techno Remix"? I just bought it so i can say i have it.

I bought it too. And the Amerika single too. The remixes really suck. (my opinion) but the Mein herz Brennt classical remake is quite... extraordinary.

Aren't Laibach Communists? Rammstein are definitely not copying Laibach... I'd say there was hardly any influence there at all. Laibach are really Slovenian? I thought they were Berliners, like Rammstein...

Laibach is a town in central Europe, is it not? That'd be in Slovenia, I suppose... anbd the band Laibach are from this town? Previously it was only famous for the Congress of Laibach, at least as far as I know...
