well, as far as i know, the poster for the wembley gig said that that was their last uk show until 2006. i dnt think it mentioned anything about the rest of europe...but then again, i may be wrong.i don't have the dvd(the new one)and i still have to wait to get it from holland from a friend cause i live in romania and no one has ever herd of placebo here. but i will get it eventually...i necer got to see one gig of theirs...how was the wembley show in comparison to the paris one?well, b-bye

>>By ash_tray   (Tuesday, 9 Nov 2004 12:55)

omg the wembley show kicked some serious ass! not as many people in the audience though. but it was packed, and just amazing. the special guest was robert smith from the cure! its hard to compare the two shows though coz i only have the paris one on DVD, i didnt get to go see it live. brian is as sexy as ever and i got some amazing pics of them! bye :o)

>>By molkos_lover   (Tuesday, 9 Nov 2004 15:34)

oh wowwwwww robert smith was there!! that sounds like literally the best show...i would have had a heart attack... i want the paris dvd realllly badly...can't stop watching the once more with feeling dvd, i'm addicted :)

>>By idontknowdotcom23   (Tuesday, 9 Nov 2004 18:47)

damn,Robert Smith was there!!!! why the hell i am not living somewhere else,it's not fair, i missed so many gigs!grrrrrr!!!

>>By Eli_Molko   (Wednesday, 10 Nov 2004 00:21)

i'm totally with you, eli_moloko.i mean, the next thing coming to romania is nightwish and it just so happens i hate their music.the last nice thing we had was i guess metallica but that was waaay back in 97.ain't no gigs around here.
i dont really think placebo should launch the wembley gig on dvd cuz that would be too many gigs on dvd. i just dnt think a band like them should launch that many dvds.and bout the omwf.i defenitely agree with the one that said it's greedy of them. cuz placebo aren't the kind of band that appeals to ppl that buy only one album (the best of, generally)and are satisfied.if u like placebo, you definitely have all the albums and, if u live in a decent country, all the singles(if not, u get them from friends in foreign countrys...).the new songs could have been on the album next year.all i can hope for is that maybe it was the record company's idea...but launching a dvd with all their videos is totally ok...what i mean is, they shouldn't lauch like 45 concerts on dvd and then a new dvd every month cuz that's totally britney spears style.it shouldn't be smth daily, it should be special and u should b xcited and really wait for it.

>>By ash_tray   (Wednesday, 10 Nov 2004 12:55)

i think they should released the wembely gig on DVD coz the show rocked and there are so many people who didnt get to go. they only have one other gig on DVD, i dont think the once more with feelings DVD (videos collection) counts as a gig, so they are far from being britney spears! wembley was a big gig so it should be released...they filmed it anyway! i dont think they should release the smaller gigs, ie brixton academy etc, but wembley would be a good one to sell. i know id buy it...but then im a loyal fan and have anything of them i can get my hands on! :o)

>>By molkos_lover   (Thursday, 11 Nov 2004 10:00)

I tried to go to Brixton's gigs in january, but i got refused a visa from the british embacy. And it was reall shitty, cause i already had reservations for hotel, appointments with friends/placeboholics from all over the world. plus,i had bought tickets for the gigs, and avion tickets.
So,guys, you're so lucky to live over there!!!!

@ash_tray- i hope they aren't doing the whole dvd things from greed too. So,hopefully it would be the record company's idea.

>>By Eli_Molko   (Thursday, 11 Nov 2004 17:54)

i think placbeo have worked too hard for too long for people to accuse them or even think they could do anything out of greed. true placebo fans know what they are about...and it aint greed! in a way id rather they didnt get much bigger than they are now. i dont want them to be more out of reach than what they already are, but i know whatever they do/release, ill be there to buy it and build on my ever growing collection of placebo! i even have 2 signed pics of the band! they take pride of place in my front room! :o) lol

>>By molkos_lover   (Thursday, 11 Nov 2004 18:11)

where'd you get the two signed pics from, have you met the band?

>>By idontknowdotcom23   (Thursday, 11 Nov 2004 19:22)

i wish id met the band!!!!!! wow! what an amazing thought! i got them from someone who had met the band though and got the pics signed. they are fuckin ace too! i used to have a david bowie signed pic and a johnny depp one too, but ill be moving in with my bloke soon so thought i should compromise! sold them 2 but im keeping the placebo ones!! nothing will ever make me sell them! noooooo way! lol and if the bloke dont like placebo in the walls he wont want me living with him! :o) bless him!

>>By molkos_lover   (Thursday, 11 Nov 2004 20:59)

my ex have burned down all my Brian/Placebo posters and pics on the wall.he just ripped them and burned them. I really wanted to kill him!
And,molkos_lover, i agree with you! i don't want them to grow bigger than they are now...i don't want them to be that out of reach...And, yeah, they can't be greedy. They're just not like that...

>>By Eli_Molko   (Thursday, 11 Nov 2004 22:13)

omg i cant believe your ex done that! mind you, i have a bloke who donw the same but it wasnt with placebo stuff. it was my own personal friends! he went through my fone and deleted everyone except family, and threw out all my letters from friends i have have contact with through writting. some of which ive never been able to get back in touch with. god help anyone who attepts to destroy any of my placebo stuff! hell have no fury like a woman scorned!!

>>By molkos_lover   (Thursday, 11 Nov 2004 23:47)

placebo is good . molko has enchanting voice . without u i am nothing is my favorite song

>>By razor   (Friday, 12 Nov 2004 03:06)

yeah without you im nothing is fantastic. i couldnt possibly choose my favourite song though. they are all too good for that! lol :o)

>>By molkos_lover   (Friday, 12 Nov 2004 09:33)

i never meant to say the guys were greedy, that was definetly not what i intended. i just said i hope they aren't becoming greedy, u knw, like when the stars get all big.cuz i guess this is about the biggest placebo have ever been.i would definetly buy another gig but what i meant to say wuz that, if they put this one also on dvd, it would be kind of a short time period from live in paris. and i dnt want them to get bigger than this, i thought about that and i guess ut's pretty egocentric of me cuz i should, like, want everyone to get to listen to them but their songs are so personal too me that it's just like keeping a secret...

>>By ash_tray   (Friday, 12 Nov 2004 11:59)

yeah, i know what you mean...i am like that. they're too personal. they've always been kind of like my band, always helping me and so on...don't worry...most of the fans are selfish like that. i have many friends that are feeling bad because Brian has become happy, and he doesn't understand them anymore. I mean, you know, when he used to be miserable and confused he was closer and more comprehensive. Now that he is so famous and happy that reflects the music and ...yeah. So, see, fans can get even more egocentrical!

>>By Eli_Molko   (Friday, 12 Nov 2004 12:16)

ash_tray i totally agree with you there, although i just dont think they would ever show greed, but i dont want them to be more out of reach than they already are. people associate placbeo with me. they use to think like...bec...loud music...rock....but now its...ah bec...placebo!!!! they have almost become my own trade mark. ive got so many more people listening to them because they are so under rated and deserve much more recognition than they get. however, i will be so gutted if they get too big, like you say! where ever i go, you can guarentee placebo are there too. either on my keys, on my car stereo, on the front of my pen, and more than anything in my home. im passionate about them, they get me through each day now! sounds sad, but its true. ive even had a tattoo done! across the small of my back it says SOULMATES NEVER DIE. only placebo fans would get that! others just think its phylisophical (did i spell that right...?) lol ah well...you all get the picture! :o)

>>By molkos_lover   (Friday, 12 Nov 2004 15:44)

no way!!! i wanted to get a tattoo with "soulmates never die" too!
but i got sick then, a lot of time, and when i recovered i decided not to do it. But it's kind of cool like that, cause, yeah, only placebo fans would know what this means:)))

>>By Eli_Molko   (Friday, 12 Nov 2004 18:48)

i also have a pattern in the small of my back, nothing to do with placebo though just a nice one i saw in the tattoo parlour! the SOULMATES NEVER DIE goes under that. but my text didnt hurt much, by the time the pain started to actually kick in and feel uncomfortable, it was over with! its soooo worth it too! i want to get a placebo symbol done too, but the only place left for me to have it is on my ankle. i dont want one on my shoulder or breast, im after the wings they do! ill have to think about that one though.

>>By molkos_lover   (Friday, 12 Nov 2004 19:47)

i dnt thk brian doesn't really understand his fans anymore...and i dnt think one could say that at one point in his lifetime he wuz sad and now he's happy. i rather thk he writes the songs when he's sad or whatever. for "therapy"...it would be really sad to find out that brian doesn't understand his fans anymore...cuz that would mean the fans would stop feeling connected to their music and i definetly wouldn't want that...
yeah, they're definetly part of my life. i can hardly picture a day without listening to their music...ppl sometimes tell me i'm obsessed cuz i spend lots of time and money on music generally but on them specially...maybe there really is smth wrong with me...but i guess if u are a placebo fan it's in the definition that ur mad bout them...i never heard of someone saying they like placeo without being their favorite band...or if they said that, they had only heard few songs...
i really hope there ain't nothing wrong with me...my intentions are good...:))))

>>By ash_tray   (Tuesday, 16 Nov 2004 12:47)

theres nothing wrong with you hunny! if there is, its the same thing wrong with me! when people say your obsessed, you correct them and say "its just a passion i have, surely you have one?!" i find that shuts people up! :o)and your right about people loving them as opposed to just liking them. if someone says they have heard of them but thats it, i make sure they listen to them! then they feel just like i do about them! i do feel really passionate about them, even my son likes them...but maybe thats coz if he aint watching TV i ask him to put the stereo on, and everytime you can guarentee its placebo! he even dances to them! he's my baby molko (6yrs old) lol

>>By molkos_lover   (Tuesday, 16 Nov 2004 15:45)

i just got the rocksound with the comic..it's great, really funny..

>>By ash_tray   (Monday, 22 Nov 2004 09:47)

omg. i just got the omwf from holland..it's in my bag and i can't wait to get home and watch it....there is a god!!!the artwork is great...the twnty years lyrics are great (i almost started crying in the history class when i read them...)

>>By ash_tray   (Monday, 29 Nov 2004 09:12)

quality! the lyrics to 20yrs are ace! have to agree with you there. but then all their lyrics are. they rock :o) does anyone else want them to releade the wembley gig on DVD...or is it just me...? lol

>>By molkos_lover   (Thursday, 2 Dec 2004 20:55)

yeah...unleash the dvd!!!!the omwf is so great....though i always thought (i still do think), that the video for 36 degrees and nacy boy shuold be pink and the one for pure morning should be yellow...but they still rule, they're some of the best videos i've seen...and the interview is really funny....when i first heard twnty years, i couldn't stop playing it for half and hour....it's just that it makes u realise that there really is nothing exaggerated and that's exactly the way it is...when i heard the part with "the golden age, i know/but all will pass/will end too soon you know" i just couldn't help crying my heart out...it's just true and nowadays it's really hard to find true, honest lyrics...
maybe they should put another gig on dvd but maybe not that soon...maybe in a year's time...
anyway...i really like the new dvd...my fav video is taste in men..cuz bruian is really...well...u know....

>>By ash_tray   (Friday, 3 Dec 2004 11:25)

brian is really sexy no matter what he does! i love a man in make up! gggrrrr! i cant watch the omwf vid yet, coz my dad has got it for me for xmas and wont let me have it yet!!!!!! id have been happy to go get it myself! im a grown woman! im 23! i shouldnt have to wait for a damn video!!!!! cant wait to get my hands on it though! :o) so stop teasing me with it!!!!! lol at least i have memories of being in the front row at wembley to keep me going til i get the onwf vid though :o) hee hee! xx
