I saw Placebo in concert a couple of months ago - I liked 'em before, but after seeing them live, I love 'em!!!
They were almost as good as MUSE - and that is such a hard live act to follow up!!!
I have the self titled album, and I've listened to the Sleeping With Ghosts album (both of which are absolutely amazin' I must add!!!)
I was soo over the moon when they played English Summer Rain!!!I love that song!!
To any Placebo fan - If you ain't seen 'em live, go and see 'em!!!And if you have, see 'em again!!!You can't feel their real energy just by listening to their albums, you MUST see them live, no joke!!!

Placebo are fuckin amazing. to put it mildly. and seriously i'm not just saying that cos i like brian enough to name my guitar after him, i'm not a bloody townie. i dunno, it's just something in their music that kinda washes everything away so all that's left is that gorgeous voice and the frighteningly passionate music. my lifeline in a hellhole known as home. can't imagine life without them, i really can't.

What the hell do Placebo look like? But I LOVE I know and Every me, Every You. I've only just got into them and hope to get some more songs from my little pumpkin who is currently watching Spiderman with a girl I don't entirely trust called Lydia. Who is called Lydia nowadays? That girl out of whatitsface Northern lights - but she's not real... I doubt Lydia is either.... damn the welsh and their welshness....
Where was I? Oh yes - dissing Spiderman but I'll do that on the actual thing instead of w.a.s.t.i.n.g this precious space for stuff on Placebo.

You realise if they release a best of album, they're going to split up. Which is a shame, really. They are good. But like all good things, they must come to an end. Except life. Life is not good. Not when your boyfriend is possibly cheating on you.

thats not necessarily (sp) true tchock!!! red hot chili peppers released a best of album and they have a new album now (even if it is just a live album) it MIGHT mean a step towards breaking up but i doubt it.... oh and another example is HIM who released a best of album but theyre coming out with a new album... so dont assume that just because placebo are releasing a best of album that they are breaking up!
