placebo is the best band around, i have just started to listen to them and i have all four albums now.My FRIEND got me hooked on placebo when i moved here.One day when i was talking about the music that i love and she realised that i wasn't one of those rap,r&b girl that she thought i was she told me abou this band and i just loved it from there onwards i still have my other favourite's like coldplay and pennywise but placebo is right on top of my list. I LOVE BRIAN'S VOICE it is very unique and interesting.I ALSO LOVE HIS EYE"S THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!. i can't wait to go to there concert here but i feel guilty cause my friend who is obsessed OBSESSED with PLACEBO can't go cause of her strict parents.

i dont know what can i say about this genious.the most deep band inthe word.They make me feel happy and sad,make me cry and laugh.Brian,s voice is incredible and the feelings in all the songs.When i listen this group im in another word,in this moments i can fly.

Placebo are the biggest band in the world!!!They are just genious!!!And I'm so happy cause they are coming in my country in less than a month,so I'll have the opportunity to see them live!!!Which will probably be the experience of my lifetime!

Placebo's music is the deepest music I've ever felt, and Brian's voice is so comforting and soothing. I feel like I'm flying whenever I close my eyes and turn on My Sweet Prince.
I seriously think that this band could be the biggest hit since Elvis, or The Beatles, or whatever the hell you, personally, think the biggest hit in the music industry has been.

Actually Brian Molko was the short-pimpled guy in his class.
But-anyway-how do you think I discovered Molko??By his music of course!
What saved my life?Placebo.
What do I listen to?Placebo.
Placebo are religion to me,not just music!
I think they are the biggest band in the world right now!
I have never ever heard a music like theirs in my whole life.
And,by the way I hadn't noticed Molko before I got into their music.I thought he was cute but nothing special.
I discovered his soul through his lyrics-and then I got interested in his life-then I discovered that he's intelligent by reading interviews-and then-that he's the sexies man alive by his pics!
And at the end-I attended a concert of Placebo...and now...:))))))
So,don't make Molko's fans sound like backstreet boys fans-cause they're not!

I saw them first In 1997, with appr. 300 other people, so yes I like them.. I only was and am surprised that the only discussion on placebo I find here is that the singer is so cute, so to be fair: I am not the one making you sound like Backstreet Boys fans, that's the ones discussing the cuteness of Molko...
Besides, I don't think any band would like to be called a religion, neither does Placebo..

All I was trying to say is that Molko is loved that much because of his music.Originally.
About the fact that everyone is talking about Brian's cuteness in a Placebo discussion-Brian is part of Placebo and I don't think that it's wrong to talk about how attractive he is.
And the thing about the religion-well,probably they wouldn't like to be called a relligion,probably they would..but I'm not saying stuff because I think they'll like it or not.I'm saying it because I mean it.That's the way I feel right now.Placebo's music got me out from a deeeeeep deeep depression(when nobody before managed),it gave me strenght to live,to go on and to pursue my dreams!

I believe that I came on here not talking about Brian's looks or asking to marry him.
But anyway, I learned about Placebo from my friend. She's got the best taste in music, so I always download songs that she listens to, to her liking. Placebo was one of the people that hit me like a hammer. Wow, they were super! The first song I heard by them was I'll Be Yours, and his voice poured out his soul, I thought. I eagerly downloaded many more Placebo songs, and found that indeed, they're an awesome band!
Placebo have got the feeling that other bands are looking for and can't find. They're that grand.

I think his image shouldn't matter, so it shouldn't be a discussion item...
But I understand we live in a material world where image does count, maybe more then anything else.. so if you want to be a part in that, go ahead, but let me just point it out to you that you are part in it...
Placebo never got you out of the Depression: you did yourself.. Placebo may have been the steps you used, but noone can get out of a depression without themselves... Still I am happy for you that you survived your first depression, but believe me, it wasn't placebo who helped you out (I can go on and make a very simple and easy joke, but I guess we all know what Placebo means, so let's leave it......)
I am sure that being raised to a religion is never good for a band: in fact most popular bands got destroyed and broke up because of this raising to Godness..... The first and biggest example ever being the Beatles....

Damn this material world. The people with so much talent are thrown to the side because of how they look, whilst the people who're "with it" are up at the top charts and whatnot. (There are exceptions, although)
And yes, I agree with what Campking said; Placebo didn't get you out of depression, you did that yourself. Which is even a bigger accomplishment, I believe.
The world today is an awful place to grow in. There is so much rejection, and not enough acception. I mean, the acception has grown a LOT over time, but it still has a far way to go. And the wars and arguments and just... GAH. Damn this material world. It's so fricken greedy.
And the Beatles were awesome! Have you ever seen the movie "The Yellow Submarine"? Haha, it's SO TRIPPY! xD
