first of all...there r 2 ppl with the alias DJ Mystik
First one that i knew of and listened to was DJ Mystik (also mispelt by many ppl as Dj Mystic) He is an azn guy from southern cali. someone on the board erlier said he was vietnamese...i have no clue on what his nationality is.

the 2nd one, is a Female from Germany also by the name of DJ Mystik
i haven't really liked her songs......

Also from what i understand DJ Mystik (azn guy one) doesn't make music any more?
i heard that DJ Epic is still in the game tho....

It's not really his music. He is known to take other artists songs as use them as his own, without changing a single thing. I used to be a fan of dj mystik, but now i know the truth about him. What he would do I find the best part of a song, rip it, and use that small portion as his "full mix." Bullshit. That's what i call it

Dj Mystik is an Asian male originating from California. you can find some of his stuff from neofreestyl.net and maybe if he has more new releases, then hypnotika.org, or both at the same time. there's no reason to buy this stuff when you can easily downlaod this stuff and make your own cd if u know how. the sources i gave you wont have all the albums, but u can request them by sending a request email to the site. but dont request too much or they will shut down the request line. bye

but there are still some minor bugs, like same tracks in two different albums.. for example there's this "more time" in Dimension 1 but it's not the right one cause it don't fit the previous track, the real one is original from Radiorama..
i guess i'm a little perfectionist or sumthing...although i see it worth trying

Yeah, it's cool. I was just wondering if there was even an album called Odyssey at all, 'cause you know how people can be dumb and name stuff when they really have no clue. That's usually the biggest problem I run into when trying to download DJ Mystik's stuff... I keep thinking it'll be something by someone totally different that some moron just said was by him. Like this one song I found called "Trance Emotion" Does anyone know if that's actually by DJ Mystik?

Ya know, when I started getting Mystik's stuff I just randomly downloaded stuff off Kazaa and tried to piece it all together. Three are two problems with this: Everyone has different versions of the songs, so they almost never match up correctly. The second problem is that most of the music is low quality 128KBps. Finally, it takes for frickin ever! The solution? IRC :) So far I've found about 7 full albums at 192 or 256 KBps. I'm sure it's all there somewhere... it just needs a little looking for.

Cali? Germany? Korean? Viet? Shoot, what I have heard is that he is Japanese, and lives in Japan, and has never left Japan. As a matter of fact, I spoke with this guy, who has a record shop in Japan, and recieves records from Mysti(c/k)'s distributer. I have been hearing for over three years now that he is from Japan, and not leaving for anything. There are also a great deal os references to Japan in his songs, I dont claim to be an expert, however I just wanted to state what I have been told. However, it is comedy actually, to think that this many people will sit around and debate on someone that remains so deep underground that only the music can break the surface, and yet that uncertainty, that lack of knowing where he/she is from, how he/she makes the music, where besides the internet to find the music, the journey to answer the questions, complete the collection is what makes the artist Mystic, and hence the name. Who is Mystic? I dont know. But I know where the artist lives.... deep down underground.
