hey, i have hmm about alot of his ablums, 20 or so, from his or her hip-hop ages to etc, i haven't keep up to date. I hate them in all .mp3 formats etc. email me for something obertkong@sbcglobal.net
and .no one actually knows if its a guy or girl .and the person is vietnamese. but...never shows thier face..lol...so u iono if itz a grl..

haha i think that that is great. i agree tho... that they should construct their own websites! Dj Mystik is the one who got me to like techno besides happy2B Hardcore. lol. which i only like a few songs, then explore the other artists on their. i have downloaded and burned like... 10 mixes cd's, tho they have no order, and sum may not be mystik since it is so hard to tell, but they are good still!

Yo DJ Mystik...I don't know if anyone else came to find out about you like I did...but I'm glad cause I have come to like ur music. For some reason I was searching something...And I came up on a site that said they were releasing a movie of some sorts called the last unicorn...so I tried to find it on Kazaa and I found an 80s cartoon called the last unicorn. This was months ago... so recently I was typing in Matrix in kazaa and I saw the last unicorn ...a mix made up by a dj. So I decided to downloaded and see if it has anything to do with that one movie. sure enough it did. That was one heck of a coincidense. anyhow...keep up the good work. Take it easy.

i usually don't like techno, but i must admit, dj mystik rules. He or she is up there with micro, carl cox, bedrock, and tiesto. I have only one question,...........why can't i find any original cds? if any of u guys know where to buy, let me know.

U usually can't find his CDs anywhere. There were limited amount printed for each cd. And they are underground promotional mixes. Meaning that there were not really retail. You should have look for mystik way back in the 90s in places like chinatown or small shops that sell asian cds. His stuff is rare. Most of the cds that are his that are out now are reproductions or reprints so they are not true orginals. And mystik doesn't really want anybody to support his alias any more. He moved on to the hard core. He uses his real name now which is Tony Tran. His stuff is good but its not like candy trance a bit more hard core. He signed with a european company which is blutonium productions. So theres no more asian DJ Mystik from San Diego, CA anymore.

Yo, Clear this up. Some people say 2 Mystik's, some say 3, and others say 1. So far, everything I have from DJ Mystik is a girl. If there was just one DJ Mystik, and his name was Tony Tran, did he partner with a girl, or what?

lol.. ok.. that makes no sence to me whatsoever... y'all know the song heaven by dj sammy. we all know that dj is a guy.. i bouight his cd, and tho hes not the best mixer dj artist whatever u wanna call it.. its a girl singing i swear... i dont get it. it all sounds like a girl to me. like.. Dj Gyrl, always is playing with tony tran... clearly in those songs he is a male artist.. and she is a female. meh i dont know anymore. -outtie!

LOL. Some dj's also produces his owns beats. Yeah DJ Sammy is a guy. He worked with Yanou another popular dj to make the heaven track. The person who does the vocals is a girl her name is Do. The dj doesn't usually use their vocals for a track they created. They usually get someone with a good voice.

honestly, let me clear some of the confusion up for you people. DJ Mystik's Name is Tony. He lives in California, yes its a he. He mainly began Dj'ing to support himself as he went through law school. Mystik is known to be very talented on the tables. I know of at least one time when he finnished an album in just one session. I dont know if hes making albums anymore since i lost contact with him and his friends. I would expect a few more over the years, though they may be very hard to find. Keep the love and hang on to those tracks

most people are lost....becuase they think dj mystik sings all of those songs....but for the hint....he is a Dj people....and that means that he takes other artist songs and mixes it with other instrument to make it sounds better than the original....oh and Dj mystik is a GUY!!!!...eventhough you heard girl's music...but i guess i've filled that in already....

okay fine i get the point that i am not the smartest ditz in the world... but dont get all huffy about it.. it took me a while to figure out that a dj is the mixer, but it makes me mad that the singer never gets all that much credit, that is if it is their own stuff that they do. they should at leats stick the singers names in their too... just for fun u know. so they get partial credit too.. and dont post back saying they do cuz then i will feel dumb. lol. but yeah thanks for clearing that up. now.. new subject on mystik anyone? theirs only so much to talk about one artist whos not that well known to many pll, and duzn't have much contravercy like such rappers like eminem do n sh*t! u know peace!

I am a huge DJ Mystik fan and i have some of his/her cd but im not sure if they are real cds. They are : "Phaze 1" which has songs like 'Higher and Higher, Transcending Dreams, and Living in Cyberspace', "Eternity 7", which has Alice Deejays' Do you think your better off alone, and some other songs, also Odyssey 2 which has songs like 'Heart of Asia, 2000+1, and Secrets of Asia', and Odyssey 4 around here is aka Twilo Ravin' Mix or something like that which has songs like Day by day, at the club, and China's infinity. If you know if these are real Dj mystik cds or what the real name of the albums are plz help me thank you!

If you like at the first page I listed the ones made by the asian dj mystik. aka Tony Tran. The eternity 7 you have is made by the german deep house dj mystik and probably those others too that are not listed on the first page.

Yes, DJ Mystik IS a GUY. His name is Tony Tran. He's Vietnamese n is from California. He was signed not too long ago by a German production company named Blutonium. So far he's put out Cyber clubbing with them as well as some singles featuring Pierre Knott and (DJ) Slim. Good luck finding these tracks though. He isn't as well known as he was when he was DJ Mystik.
