The Dj Mystik that has all those CDs with Asian girls on them is Vietnamese, and his real name is Tony Tran. His label is Blutonium, but i dont think he does any more remixes cuz i havent seen an album out by him for a while. as for the German DJ Mystik, i have no clue cuz the Asian one is a lot better :) check out http://www.hypnotika.org and click on Tony Tran in the DJ List.

To: Mirricat45

i just want to point out that you are an idiot, and you just gotta wonder about the obscure songs that never made it big, and how Dj Mystik happened to make their dreams come true. if it wasnt for mystik to promote these songs in the first place, they would have probably been never known in these areas. in case you are still skeptical, look at Plur and the promotion it did for Rollergirl. thanks to that brilliant mix, Rollergirl had gained thousands of fans throughout the states. not to mention, it is EXPLICITLY marked on every one of his covers that "this cd is a promo (PROMOTIONAL) cd only! do not bootleg." Since you obviouisly didnt understand what that means, ill explain it in a way that you would. his cd's were only meant to be used for promoting the songs that he mixed, thus, getting rights to those cd's dont mean shit. not to mention, on a side note, he makes only 999 copies of each mix, so, based on the law of most states in the US, which enables a person to not go over 1000 copies, he is perfectly legal.

and who the fuck wants to sue Dj Mystik? Alice Deejay? Rollergirl? uhh,,, ATB??? are you fucking idiots or something??? ATB hosted one of his events and Rollergirl was at his last public mix. so yeah, whoever is stupid enough to not want to get off his ass, and actually check out the song and its titles ONLINE, *ahem, which happens to be where THIS site is,* for lyrics of the ORIGINAL artists, deserves to get chewed out and be laughed at. i just hope that you know what you're talking about and not try to dog for anymore trouble with more senseless bullshit from now on.

till then, i hope the mystik fans of this forum appreciates his efforts to promote trance.

>>By Another DJ   (Wednesday, 16 Jul 2003 07:32)

oh yeah, i also think its kinda funny how a person who talks so much shit about Mystik happens to have SOOOO many of the songs from HIS mixes. sure, it may have no name of the people who did the actual song, but it gives the title. and if you care enough about the lyrics, then you can type it down, and it'll look it up for you. in case you havent noticed, this era IS the internet age after all. everything you want to find is out there.

>>By Another DJ   (Wednesday, 16 Jul 2003 07:34)

oh yeah, what about that fucking idiot who is "ticked off" about mystik's mixes? AIM: TRUJasonBoy . how in the fucking hell is he gonna get ANYTHING for suing Mystik? what is gonna say? "oh, this guy took music from people who i dont even know, taking songs that are not mine, so gimme money!" wtf??? and not to mention, pile the cost of the equipment, needles and cd's, not to mention the production costs of the cds, and you will find that the number that you get in the end from "profits", doesnt even fucking add up to the Goddamned money it costs to make his cds or burn them. Mystik only did that shit for some fun and experience. and on a side note, idiots who dont know shit about the songs are the ones who are actually responsible for writing the filenames that are labeled "Dj Mystik," since they were unable and ultimately, too lazy to get off their fat stinking asses, to find out the true identity of the real artists. so yeah, Mystik's songs were NEVER originally on MP3's. they were on CD's!!! so people who think that whenever they fucking have hundreds of songs that are labeled mystik, just realize that HE was not the one who gave himself credit. its you dumbasses who refuse to even fucking look into his works who were mistaken to begin with. and thats my three cents.

>>By Another DJ   (Wednesday, 16 Jul 2003 07:43)

Imma hard working Disc Jockey, and i know how hard it is to do shit, like mixing songs, and finding the good ones to make the cd good.

as a person on the forum that Mirricat45 said,

"There are more than one DJ Mystik's.. at least 2. The one in the pic above is the biggest one, and he lives in California... but the one who released that "eternity 9" cd is from belgium, and he's a totally different guy.

The one in the pic above has only released "PROMOTIONAL CD'S" and therefore is not really making money from them. people can't get sued for releasing Promo's (or whitelables on vinyl) even if there is copyrighted material anyways..

He doesnt lable the track's artists on his promo CDs, because it's not necessary, he's not selling the CDs, but people get ahold of these CDs, rip them, and don't know the original artist's name, so they put it as DJ Mystik.

Then these tracks get thrown on the internet, and we have all these people on message forums like this complaining about it. "

there you go. i hope that ignorant people will not be so stupid as to NOT get the point. its thanks to us hard working djs that you fuckers get the songs in the first place. so fuck off, you ungrateful fucks. Dj'ing is truly a thankless job, considering how no one appreciates the good stuff we do to enrich your unthankful fucking lives. good bye, and have a great fucking day.

I Think DJ Mystik Tony tran did get sued for using songs like Unchained melody etc. i saw all this stuff on some site. thats probably y u dont see him doing any more cds. and i checked out Blutonium records and it turns out that Blutonium is located in Germany. Hypnotika.org told me that tony tran moved to Blutonium records, but his name isn't listed on the site either. weird........

Hi everybody,

my name is Dvir Bloominfield (better known as Sexy Spinners)
i'm a trance DJ & producer from europe.

i also like some stuff by DJ Mystik (the asian california based guy)

he was making some EXTREMELY HEAVY cheese rave, but i dont know anyone who don't like this happy stuff...at least once in a while (including me)

its really sad that he had abandoned this project....

i also plan to maybe make a "renew" remix to 'dream a little dream' (a less cheesy remix but something ravey as well)

now....
for these of u wonderin all the time about the vocals. i wanna let u know about something...

as a producer, with the right sound proccessing effects, i can take a male's voice and turn it to sound just like a female chord :) and visa versa ..

it might be his own voice proccessed with Halium effects and a few others that turn it to a female-like voice, or he could jsut take a girl to sing the lyrics for his tunes...

yet it doesn't mean he's a female if the vocals sound like female's voice :)

peace out everybody.

regards,

D. Bloominfield A.K.A Sexy Spinners

I have to agree what you said though.
To Everyone
Does it matter which mystik is which??? Does it matter if they rip other ppl's songs???? Who gives a shit. I like both mystik's work.

Hey evry one, i got dj mystik's 'temptation 1' mix cd, and there is one great tune in it
named "Close your eyes"

it features some very nice vocals something goes like "close your eyes we can dream togther, in your mind you'll never be alone..... save your life and hold me forever.... deep in your heart....deep in your soul..."

like everyone probably knows, the tunes on mystik's cds are not his own work.... he just mixes other artist's tunes....but on his cds the real artist's name are not listed..

and i just MUST get my hands on this tune ...... can anybody please direct me to the artist name of this tune ?!?!?? (the tune "close your eyes" from temptation 1 cd)

i'll really appreciate this coz i cant seem to find this tune anywhere online and offline :(

thanks in advance

i havent known about dj mystik for a long time but i sure as hell know his shits the shit. i dont have any of his original promos but my friend does and hes mystik this rave that. but he thinks mystik is from europe and still lives there. i personally couldnt care less if mystik was asin, belgion, gay, four armed, half retarted or what the fuck ever. if the music is good wtf? and as for that "only mixes other ppls songs" bull who the hell cares? especially if the end result is better than the original.

>>By Ashitaka_the_last_warrior   (Tuesday, 26 Aug 2003 12:25)

to "Ashitaka_the_last_warrior":

when i said "mixes other artists tunes" i didn't mean that he remix tunes

("bull who the hell cares? especially if the end result is better than the original"... dude the fact he mix tunes together doesn't mean it changes anything from the originals lol)....

i only meant that he mix them together on turntables with a mixer... (and about this no one can argue coz its soo plain true)

damn i still cant name that tune i asked about in my last post :(

uhhhhhh :( anyone knows anything about this the name of the artist for this tune ? (quoted in my last post)

Dj mystik was good about 3 years ago. After you listen to it much. I think your taste will evolve from trance to Vocal Breakytrance, is pretty good right now. Like someone said. Go to www.hypnotika.org .....learn how to use mirc. Then if you lucky enuff some people have some old dj mystik to download from and such. I recommend if you get the chance to download. DOWNLOAD dj ghostchild volume 2, or 3 or dj heartbreakk, dj electro, dj miko & mino me. You won't be disappointed. It's hard for me to go back to the trancy stuff that mystik does. I listen it to it once and while. But after you listen to these other dj's compare to mystik .........mystik is nothing. Times change and his stuff is good while it lasted.

But i guess that's how everyone starts. Starts with vocal trance after awhile it may evolve to breaks or drumandbass (for hardcore people) but yeah. Hopefully someone replys cause this page looks old. Oh well.
