I don't exactly blame all of what I said on Britney, some of it is my parent's falt for being "do-nothing-parents" but a lot of it falls on the pop culture world of MTV. Girls want to be like what they see in the magazines, like the models, like Britney, Christina, J. Lo. All of these teen pop icons are becoming very revealing and as a result the youth of a nation is embrassing it and becoming a very sexually open generation. This is what our future as a nation lies in, the images of a person laid by the likes of Britney Spears and her perogitive, which happens to be a remake that she slandered.

I think britney is a self-absorbed slut. I mean she got drunk and married someone. She's really sending a GREAT message(not). She needs to grow up and get off the whiskey.

Why society still finds what britney spears and christina aguilera expose so shocking, appalling, and surprising will always be a mystery to me....it's not like this new trend just started where you have to show some skin to generate album sales or gain some publicity...celebrities have been doing this for many many years...way back to betty paige, marilyn monroe, madonna, and now britney and christina....it's so stupid that people still get offended....i'm not professing to be a fan of britney....i dont care for her music at all but i do feel for her...she has to put up w/a lot of shit just for being a human being and makin mistakes and learning from them....keep in mind that every aspect of her life is scrutinized...and i still dont know why it was soo shocking when she got drunk and married in vegas....GOOD GOD, who doesn't do that....she's young and tryin to have a good time...fuck, i'd do it too...do u know how many other celebrities have done the same thing.....yet no one criticises them...my point is, people (including celebrities) are going to do what they feel like doin...regardless of people's complaints and concerns....so what's the point of nagging....it certainly doesn't make the situation better....nor does it make it worse...get over it

i'm not a fan of britney's music but thats just my opinion, she can sing, dance and shake what she's got as much as she likes for all i care cause it wouldn't bother me.
What i don't like, however, is this.
back in the day britney was a sweet innocent obliviously happy little pop idol which is cool cause she was a decent role model for the millions of young girls that adored and worshipped her but over the years she's slowly progressed into a pop whore.
A line from her latest single stating that she 'see's nothing wrong with spreading herself around'.
now as i stated before i don't give a damn what she does but what i do care about is these millions of young girls who watch and imitate her....... that worries me alot, shes no longer a safe role model for young girls, in fact shes a terrible role model
now.
And yeah the blame should go to the parents as well if their going to allow their children to dress like that but the simple fact is you can't watch your kids all the time, you can't censor what they see all the time. So therefore blame also has to fall on entertainers like Britney spears, its not like she and her record company don't realise the fact that young girls are watching and imitating her and the simple fact they know this sickens me. if she wants to people to know the fact thats shes a whore....well that is her prerogative. but its our prerogative to have children safe from the media...... sadly that right has obviously been taken from us

I'm not a huge fan of hers, but I like listening to her music, and she was pretty funny in Crossroads, thought it wasn't THE best movie ever made. She's not really a role model, though...if people want her to be their role model, they do so at their own risk....lol...sorry, but it's true....

OMG....Britney is getting a divorce!! I couldnt believe it!! I mean she is sooo in love with K Fed and i really thought that this marriege would last simply because press assumed otherwise!! I hope she will find smn else and be happy 4ever!!
