I think that Britney is really nice. There should be NO problem with that. She may lip sing at her concerts ( all singers do that just 4 ur information.) But when they record the CD they r really singing. J. Lo is even worse. On one of her concerts she messed up on her lip singing. You could tell by the way her lip moved. Whoever doesn't like Britney sucks!

Since when is beauty talent? Her life is NOT as hard as ours, she has people to do everything for her! Sure, she has "dance rehersals" and what not. Oh, and she had to take the time to learn how to lip sync...that's hard work ya know, learning how to move your lips but not make a sound. She's good at it though. I mean, it's not like she actually SINGS on stage or anything.
But yea. Beauty should never define someone's talent. EVER. That's shallow. That's a very preppy remark if I do say so myself.

No, not all performers lip-sync in concert - just the ones who cannot sing to begin with. Milli Vanilli anyone? It seesm to me that if Britney wanted to be taken seriously, she would dress in a more appropriate manner. I believe that her influence is making her fans believe that it is perfectly reasonable to dress the way she does during her concerts while they are at school or other social functions. then wonder why they are getting unwanted attention form the male of the species. Ah, but then this IS America, and sex sells - even when there isn't the talent to make sure it something worthwhile...

You've all got it wrong. Everyone loved Britney before because she was young. Everyone likes em young. When they're over 18 they're no fun (wasn't there a song with something along those lines?). Anyway I liked her in her school uniform. She really did look cute and innocent back then. She looks gawky now. But I loved her on that recent MTV thing with Madonna. In fact everyone was good on that except for Missy Elliot (however you spell it).
Christina, Mandy.... all grown up out of their diapers now. No fun. Bring the next batch in.

Boy here we go again I read these all the time and always have to bring up the same thing over and over again. With the jealous remark oen of you made up there. Give me a break. It seems to me whenever someone doesn't agree with everyone else. People like to use the same old cliche word oevr and over again cause you have no better remark to come back with. Oh yea I forgot I guess I forgot when you voice your own opinion and dont like somebody or there shitty talent then your jealous. Give me a break. If I was not to like her then I'm for sure not jealous. Oh and if shes like everybody else in this world. Then you would stop saying that shes so nice and caring. Cause the truth is you dont really know her. Shes in the medias eyes all the time and you see what she has to betare. You dont really know her in and out. Do you hang with her on a daily basis. No. And it's just like in the real world. You can have a friend for many yrs and still not know them truly. So how the hell do you think you know her so well. Oh thats right cause shes famous and she must be a nice person. People are so stuck on the celebs these days. GET OVER IT. I love many talented singers and give my props to them. And show respect. But I dont dwell over them like there gods. Just like someone said shes like everybody else in this world. Well with thats the case then stop obessing for her.
PS. She doesn't have that great vocal range or talent in her voice. I will give her props for her dancing she can follow that. Now I'm not saying she cant sing whats so ever. However she doesn't sing that well. She cant hit from low to high. Like I said her range sucks. And the voice alone is very babyish. It's just her sound. And it isn't that great. There is real talented voices out there. It's not her.

Maybe she will. Still doesn't make her good at singing. The older she gets the more her sex appeal will go down. Then it's either try to listen and like her voice or she will fade out. I'm bettin she will fade out.

maybe it's me but doesn't britney sound monotone in all her songs? i mean there is no range in her voice...she kinda keeps it at the same level the entire song....like in her song "me against the music" (well i think that's the name of the song....i forget)... but the other thing is it isn't true that all artists lip sing. i used to like good charlotte, but in concert their music sounds horrible compared to cd. then again that's my opinion. but the lip singing was so obvious and she was singing for the awards (i forget which awards...there are so many now)...so it shoulda been real...

But another ive been skimming though this and ive noticed lots of people saying she hott or shes pretty. Is that all that people care about? I mean for me to like someone I have to like their lyrics. Does it really matter if shes pretty? that shouldnt change anyones judgement. and i dont really think someone who dresses.. or should i say undresses should be looked up to. I dont see what there is to be looked up on with her. Could someone tell me? seriously. i want to know.

A talented artiste, her visionary work in both the realms of booty shaking and breast wobbling have not gone unnoticed. Besides being an accomplished shaker and wobbler, it is rumored she is also a vocalist of some sort. When the fickle American art-consumers toss her by the wayside, in a maximum of two years, for the next big thing (a well-endowed 13 year old out of Scranton is creating a buzz), I fully intend to offer Britney a position dancing in one of my clubs. I feel she has a bright future in the adult entertainment industry.

first of all i like 'toxic' but the gurl needs help to sing. thats why she lip-syncs. she seems nice but she doesnt even write her own songs! how can you call her an artist? christina is a better singer, but no doubt she's too trashy. and dont get me started on 'crossroads'

Not all singers lip-sync, listen to a metal band's cd then go to concert and you will find it more raw... because it has no digital changes to it. With that out of the way, on to Britney Spears. I was watching Saturday Night Live, and they had her on there. For the first time in history she didn't lip-sync... she actually sang. Of course, the volume was down low and the music was playing really high, and she sang extra softly... in fact, i don't remember hearing her. Anyways, I dislike her very much. Her bust size changes more times than Michael Jackson's nose, and soon enough she will run out of money and not be able to change her body. Have you ever heard her actually speak without her mother or manager next to her; telling her what to say? I'm sure if you have, then you will find her to be... well, unintelligent.
Why do people keep telling people to stop juding Britney Spears? Liking her is a judgement is it not? If we don't judge, then we will form no opinion... hence nobody would like or dislike her. So, we must judge in order to form an opinion in which we can base the way we view her. I find her to be untalented and fake. Has she had it hard in her life? I imagine she has had a break-up or two in her time, nothing to be overly sad about. Compared to Jonathan Davis(lead singer of KoRn)... who was raped at the age of five, and severely abused through-out his life, Britney has had it easy. As for her liking fans and being nice, how would you know? For all you know when she looks out into the crowd she sees a bunch of dallar bill signs winking at her. *wink*$$*wink*
You can't possibly say that Britney Spears actually likes you... does she invite you over to her house, does she actually hold a tailgate party after the show? You can tell bands such as KoRn... Insane Clown Posse, Coal Chamber, Disturbed, etc. actually have an inkling of care for their fans for the fact that they host tailgate parties after their shows. With a small 3-4 dollar admission, you can party it up with them and have fun. And strangely enough, the most rebellious and raw music genre in the world (Metal) is in fact one of the best ro-model genres. It teaches you to stand up for yourself, admit it hurts, live through the pain, and be real. What does britney Spears and pop music tell us? Impress the opposite sex by spending mucho denairo on designer clothes and changing everything about yourself to make them like you... how is this a good ro-model? Dress nice, and do what a man tells you to, is the message pop music sends to young girls, and what does it send to guys? Only date women who are stunningly pretty, shallow, and will do what you tell them to.
As for Britney Doing great things... name one. She started a new hair style? A designer clothes? Whoopty Doo, KoRn has over 50,000 young fans who say that they were toying with the idea of suicide until they heard KoRn. So, KoRn saves thousands of people, can Britney top that?

Well HY-, I am the kind of person that doesn't realise he types a lot until he is done. I'll just put all my ideas and angers down into a message and am suprised when i look up and see it is half a novel :) I just keep forming opinions and searching my brain for facts that I have picked up over the years. Whoever wrote the strings for Toxic is talented. they should be working for someone else, not Britney. I like that song, but only the strings. I despise Britney generally, but I only realised how bad she is when I listened to Toxic several times. That song has been overplayed though, and I'm a bit fed up of it.
