anti-flag has to be one of the best, if not the best punk band ever. lyrics with heart felt messages to the masses. heavy riffs with a great drummer, music doesnt get very much greater than this

I think Anti-Flag says it best when they say; "Too smart to fight, too smart to kill". I personally think Anti-Flag has been one of the best political punk bands of all time, and probably the best modern political punk band, along with Pennywise of course. When I first listened to Anti-Flag I thought they were making a point, but I didn't know quite what they were getting at. Now, after really getting into their music and sharing many many beliefes, I understand that America, as well as politics, is not what it's made out to be. Don't sell yourself short, find out the truth about REAL freedom, and REAL peace... Don't settle for what you have today when you can have so much more. That is the main thing I learned from Anti-Flag... If anyone talks badly about Anti-Flag, you obviously do not understand the concept of truely being free! Don't respect a nation that is full of lies and hatred, AKA: The American government.

Before I started listening to Anti-flag, I was the same, brainwashed fuckhead who thought America was the best there was. When i started listen to Anti-Flag, i was an ignorant, stupid fucker who believed that our government was the best, and that everything that we did was for the good of our world. Anti-Flag has totally changed the way i look upon my life. They have opened my eyes and have allowed my to see the true world. The guys in Anti-Flag are truly the best band i have ever heard... If you guys read nething else of mine...on all the horse-shit "bubble-gum punk" discussions...I want you to know..that bands like Anti-Flag is what I live for. A guy I know got me hooked on them...(thank you, by the way "Alexis"..lol)...it's his fave band..and I totally look at everything differently now. Also..Anti-Flag finished up my thinking of what punk is...they *are* punk. They are an awesome band...I think my favorite song of theirs is either..well nething off of "Die For Your Government"...and I like the songs "The Truth" and "Born To Die", too. My friend wore his Anti-Flag shirt to school on September 11th. Now I call that *true* anarchy..lol. no one can argue that anti-flag is an awesome punk band. they helped me start off loving political punk, but i'd definitly have to say i like bands like Aus-Rotten, the unseen, and a global threat a lot more. they play more hardcore shit than anti-flag. but like i said no punk can say anti-flag is not one of the best because they are and they also rock live too.

Anti-Flag along with Pennywise are umong the few bands that have the brains and the balls to say whats wrong with socirty, politics etc. Kudos cuz they rock and their messege is awsome if you are smart enough to listen to it and understand it

I have found that their message is overall positive, (while sometimes a little broad or watered) and they put on a great live show.
I have met them personally, and have to say that justin sane is one of the nicest guys on the planet, hes seriously really cool. Im not so sure about his solo project though, good message, again, but not quite as tight as antiflag structure wise, and musically lacking, he should have done it with an acoustic guitar instead of an electric. It would stand on its own better, and have a fuller sound, but, to each his own I guess.
All in all, definatley check them out if you havent heard/heard of them.
