KoRn kicked major buttage last Sat, and so did Static-X. They both really got the fans all into it, there was a great atmosphere, and everyone had a really good time. I'm so glad I went, one of the best concerts I've been to...And that is hard to top!

I don't know about that

Korn 10/10
Life Is Peachy 9/10
Follow The Leader 7/10
Issues 7/10
Untouchables 9/10 (although i don't really count it as a Korn album)
Take A Look In The Mirror 6/10

If Untouchables isn't a Korn album, what is it?

>>By Trenounde   (Friday, 9 Jul 2004 17:16)

Untouchables was awsome granted it was not as good as issues but it was still great it was an experiment where korn took a different path in their music but i liked it

>>By theli#1   (Saturday, 10 Jul 2004 04:27)

Untouchables was amazing album. Though they burnt mo' money on that one and made it sound so massive, it was tight. I love it. Like i love everything else that Korn's put out over the years.

Oh yeah, KORN was performing in Finland (my homeland) few weeks back, and they ROCKED THE LIVIN' S*** OUTTA THAT PLACE! Hope they come back, 'cause i will be there again, trust me.

Anyone heard 'bout KoRn releasing a greatest hits album?

>>By kathy_moose   (Monday, 19 Jul 2004 15:15)

Yeah, it's supposed to be out later this year. There's also going to be 2 new tracks, but they are both cover songs. 1st is Public Enemey's song (can't recall it right now...) and the other one is Pink Floyd's Another Brick on the Wall. They performed it live here in Finland, it was hella tight, man! Can't wait to hear it recorded on an album.

>>By Maggot brain   (Tuesday, 20 Jul 2004 20:43)

A Korn cover of a Floyd song?

>>By Drukq User   (Wednesday, 21 Jul 2004 13:02)

Yeah... Korn covers Pink Floyd's "Another Brick on the Wall" song in their concerts and now it's going to end up on their greatest hits-collection CD out later this year.

KoRn rock fullstop. Wannabee fans deserve to die cause they just want the KoRn Label attached to them and don't really care about the music.

>>By KoRnKid   (Thursday, 22 Jul 2004 13:50)

KoRn are leaving Sony and are gonna start producing and publishing their own material. No more pressures to create any singles then.

>>By KoRnKid   (Thursday, 22 Jul 2004 13:54)

Hooray! Maybe that means they'll produce less music. Korn scare me.

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Tuesday, 31 Aug 2004 12:33)

''If Untouchables isn't a Korn album, what is it?''

To the person who said that ^

It is a Korn album, the reason I don't count it as one is because its completely different both musically and emotionally from anything they've ever done, and Korn are a trademark band, they like to stick to their one particular style, and Untouchables doesn't. It reminds me more of Nine Inch Nails, which is a good thing obviously.

You can tell straight away that they changed deliberately too, because if you have all six Korn albums on your CD rack, you can see the sleeves are all black with plain white writing, except for Untouchables which is orange with cartoony writing. Great album, just not a signature Korn album.

>>By Stinkfist   (Saturday, 4 Sep 2004 12:53)

That's one of the reasons I dislike Korn - they're utterly unchanging style. Maybe I should check out Untouchables, since you say it's completely differerent. I also dislike them since they seem to be the opposite of the music I like and I also don't think much of Jonathan Davies as a singer, although I like the bagpipes and the scat in Freak on a Leash is alright.

>>By Flake 1.6   (Tuesday, 7 Sep 2004 18:22)

Yeah he does have a very ugly voice, although he makes up for it in range, power and emotion in my view.

>>By Stinkfist   (Wednesday, 8 Sep 2004 17:02)

I find that their music is an offensive cacophony of different styles.

>>By Flake 1.6   (Wednesday, 8 Sep 2004 18:28)

Thats exactly what its supposed to be. They mixed and matched a bunch of genres which are all complete opposites of one another.

death metal + hip-hop + emo + industrial

Or something like that.

>>By Stinkfist   (Thursday, 9 Sep 2004 17:20)

But it doesn't do it in a beautiful way.

>>By Flake 1.6   (Thursday, 9 Sep 2004 18:24)

They're not about beauty. They're about raw untempered emotion, and seeing as the emotions depicted by the band are anger, frustration, loneliness, paranoia, sadnesss and confusion, it's pretty clear they're not attempting to convey beauty. It's all about the aggression.

>>By korn,7   (Saturday, 5 Mar 2005 06:52)

kORN AWESOME AS HELL BEST BAND EVER IF YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW THEY GOT KORN, FROM A KID AND HAD ASKED HIM TO SPELL IT WAS A RANDOM KID HUH I KNOW JUST ABOUT ANYTHING ABOUT KORN JUST TELL ME IF YOU WANT TO KNOW...

GREATEST HITS VOL.2 IS COMING OUT IN APRIL

>>By korn,7   (Wednesday, 30 Mar 2005 08:39)

I don't understand, what's so horrible about Head leaving the band for God? Isn't it his own business, if he want's to explore his own faith in God? If that's what he feel he's gotta do, so be it. It ain't our problem. Korn will be in a interesting point, since Head has left, but i believe they'll be just fine.
