Sk8a: Dude, if you can, paste a picture of Hendrix right next to yours and I promise you'll see the resemblance. Do it in your bio so we all can see. Chop, chop...

>>By sir-rape-a-lot   (Tuesday, 25 May 2004 06:34)

You can see people's ages on their profiles... No idea where I'm going to get a picture of Hendrix, sorry. 99% of websites don't work on my computer. If you'd care to e-mail a pic to sk8a_h8a@hotmail.com then I would quite happily oblige you. That is, if I can find out how to put 2 pictures next to each other. Ah, it should be easy enough. Just send me a pic of his face.
I know Korn aren't as heavy as some bands, but they're still heavier than Linkin Park and in some cases even LP could be considered heavy.

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Tuesday, 25 May 2004 12:27)

Excuses, excuses...
It's alright, though.

Linkin Park can sound heavy at times. I like it when thy throw in the trip-hop, though.

>>By sir-rape-a-lot   (Tuesday, 25 May 2004 20:36)

When "they" throw in the trip-hop, I meant to say.

(Been reading too much Shakespeare lately.)

>>By sir-rape-a-lot   (Tuesday, 25 May 2004 20:37)

Lol, actually, now that I think about it, the resemblance between Hendrix and Sk8a H8a is uncanny...:-P

>>By kathy_moose   (Wednesday, 26 May 2004 16:58)

Hahahaha Hendrix was a far better guitarist than me, but I'm pleased you think I look like him. I mean, I'll take it as a compliment. I just have a similar expression to him, I guess. My skin and hair colour is completely unsimilar. But if you think I look like him, maybe others will notice too.
I think LP were probably influenced by P.O.D.... maybe Korn were an influence, but I'm still skeptical. What elements of Korn are in LP's music?

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Wednesday, 26 May 2004 17:38)

I'm changing my name or leaving this site. 1 or the other. I'll see you in the next life or name. I'm only checking messages within the next two days.
Bye
See you guys, later.
L8a sk8a, kathy, the rest...

>>By -DIDA-   (Thursday, 27 May 2004 11:49)

KoRn are great... I think I'll buy one of their albums. Any suggestions as to what one?

>>By Undertone   (Thursday, 27 May 2004 12:54)

The first one...or follow the leader. Not the second one. Never the second one...
Goodbye, everyone.

>>By sir-rape-a-lot   (Thursday, 27 May 2004 19:57)

Lol, Follow The Leader is a very good album!!Some of the songs have a lil bit of hip-hop in 'em, if that's your scene...
There's loadsa great songs on there - It's On, Freak On A Leash, Got The Life (that is the song that got me into KoRn - love it soo much!), Children Of The KoRn and Reclaim My Place!!Those are my fav songs from the album - I'm not really into the hip-hop stuff, but it's growing on me!

Nooooo!sir-rape-a-lot!!Don't leave us!!!:-'(

>>By kathy_moose   (Friday, 28 May 2004 22:38)

what is the best song from Korn...?

>>By HY -   (Friday, 28 May 2004 22:41)

to answer undertones question buy all the albums korn rules as to answer which is their best song hmm thats a tough one my favorites are falling away from me got the life and A.D.I.D.A.S

>>By Vavin   (Friday, 28 May 2004 23:17)

A.D.I.D.A.S is the best song on Life is Peachy. The only good song really. "Justin" is kick ass on Follow the Leader.

And I like "Hollow Life" on Untouchables, just a personal fave.

Okay, goodbye FOR REALS. I'm cancelling my membership tomorrow.
Bye...

>>By sir-rape-a-lot   (Saturday, 29 May 2004 03:01)

I would definitely not buy all of their albums - the one to get would be Follow the Leader. Also you should buy any Linkin Park albums you don't have. Because the two main ones are essential for anyone and once you have those you simply have to get the other two... But once you have one Korn album, that's usually enough to suffice.

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Saturday, 29 May 2004 03:20)

no its not if you were a true korn fan one album is not enough to suffice but one linkin park cd is bad enough for a life time z

>>By Vavin   (Saturday, 29 May 2004 05:34)

I get really fed up listening all the way through a Korn album. Linkin Park at least have different songs.

>>By Flake 1.6   (Saturday, 29 May 2004 14:51)

What he said.

>>By Undertone   (Saturday, 29 May 2004 21:56)

linkin park songs all sound the same thats why im fed up with listening to them i gave away my linkin park cds

>>By Vavin   (Sunday, 30 May 2004 18:37)

Well, you certainly wasted them then - if you don't like Linkin Park, why did you have more than one CD? At least LP are more varied than Korn...

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Sunday, 30 May 2004 23:42)

WTF???KoRn sounds the same???You must be either tone deaf, stoopid, or imensely stoopid!!!

Take, for example, Follow The Leader - it's such a varied album!!!You've got a lil bit of metal, nu-metal, hip-hop...s'all good!!

And Issues - all those lil song things in between (like 4 U)!!You don't really find that on any Linkin Park albums now do you??

Look, if you don't like KoRn, fair enough, but you just can't say a completely unjustified statement like that!!

>>By kathy_moose   (Monday, 31 May 2004 13:20)

Who said Korn sounds the same? They do, though. All of their songs seem to have the same lyrics and listening to them is almost as dull as talking about them on this board. Every comment on this board sounds the same, too. Wow, we're even more boring than Korn. Zzzzzzz...

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Monday, 31 May 2004 14:20)

But the one KoRn song that has been remixed and renamed many times, is actually really good.

>>By Undertone   (Monday, 31 May 2004 22:10)

whatever i hate linkin park

>>By Vavin   (Monday, 31 May 2004 22:29)

Lol, if you wanna say some good sh!t 'bout Linkin Park, this ain't the place to be doin' it!!!Say that on the L.P. forum, somewhere where people care!!!

KoRn's lyrics don't sound the same!!What the hell you L.P. fans are on?That is just a pathetic excuse for having crap taste in music!!!

Wait, if it's so "dull" to talk 'bout KoRn, and discuss their music with people who have good taste in music, what the hell you doin' here talkin' 'bout 'em for then??Go waste your time elsewhere then!!

Ah yes good ole trusty Korn! Theyre so good that big corporate media companies *coughMTV2* are trying desperately to get rid of them and keep bands like "The Vines" "The Strokes" and all that other crap, now i do believe that tastes and types of music change all the time but hang on a second its still the days of Korn and dare i say this and put them under this category of "Nu-metal" coz we all know Korm produce some wicked and varied songs that they should have theyre genre, wait a sec, who created nu-metal? ;)

>>By Breaker_17   (Friday, 4 Jun 2004 19:02)

Did anyone see KoRn at the Hammersmith Apollo on Sat?

If you didn't, you missed an absolutely fuckin' awsome show!I was totally blown away!!!KoRn really got the crowd goin', everyone had a really good time, and Static-X are by far the best support act I've ever seen!!

>>By kathy_moose   (Tuesday, 22 Jun 2004 17:55)

Static X supporting Korn??? thats plain wrong. I prefer Korn over Static X obviously, but I've seen both bands live, and Static X were WAY better than Korn. Korn haven't been any good live for years, not since the Kampaign anyway...

>>By Stinkfist   (Tuesday, 22 Jun 2004 23:23)

korn rules even though i like static x korn is way better
