i just saw eyedea perform live w/ living legends. this was my 2nd time seeing him, and his energy was amazing. i wish he could have been the only performer for the entire night. as much as i love first born, the many faces of oliver hart tops anything he's ever done. i've been supporting him since 2000, and he's only 21 right now. just imagine how much better he is going to get over the years. i see a long career ahead of him.

Eyedea and Eminem should not be compared. Two totally different styles of battle/freestyle/writing. If you still don't think Eyedea is raw in battles or dead skilled in writing, you shouldn't be listening to hip-hop. besides that line from Eminem was a Benzino diss..Eyedea is a master, just because he isn't famous doesn't mean he isn't. Yo.. eyedea is one of the illest emcee's and i've been to 3 of his shows and he rips in all of them.. I mean he can work the crowd and waste all his enegy on stage. .... He keeps it real too. I had a chance to talk to him at one of his shows.. He's a funny cat too..he sells all his merchandise himself and he might be chill when you talk to him but on stage he switches to the mc mode...
.. how many rappers do that ... The show up in anaheim was off the hook . he tor it up with abilities. and mixed it up with new freestyling shit.
At every show he tries something different.. thats on... he sold me his road mix and that shit is tight too. he put some new tracks not available on the net or hip hop stores...

I've listened to eyedea's albums and seen him live. He has some good energy live but for his albums they are a little lack luster both on rhymes and production. He should stick to the fast rap. He does it well. The slower numbers are just boring. There isn't much consistancy. I've noticed this with atmosphere as well.

The only difference to me is that eminem is mainstream and eydea aint.
