hello all. first of all there should definitely not be an age limit on punk. Steve Ignorant from Crass has reched that age and I don't think he shold leave the Stratford Mercenaries just because he isn't yong anymore. That's actualyl a pretty ignorant thing to say. Some of the originators of the scene are that age..and hell they can stay on the stage as long as they want. And yes i agree most people don't understand the ideals of punk and that the music is just an art form that bands and othe angry people use to express these beliefs. i think if people don't understand that they should that a look at why they consider themselves punk in the first place. And defnitely learn about Crass. read my posting in the Crass discusioin it gives a good background of them. They started real pacifist anarcho punk and yes most crust and other types of punk derived from that. peace

anti-gabby too..you are quite hypocritical..you say i just fight with people and then you just insult me..at least i'm talking about ideals and shit..and how trendy the scene is becoming, causing it to lose it's value..you just talk badly about me..and you don't even know me.

I've been a subhumans fan for about 20 yrs now and I just picked up day the country died on cd and I'm listening to it as I type and it's just as great now as it was when I first heard it on vinyl. By the way, who is this concerned citizen idiot? "Crass preceded Subhumans by 10 yrs la ba goo goo". 10 yrs? I don't think Crass formed in '69 you brainless goophead. And just for the record, crass couldn't make nearly as interesting music as subhumans. Though I may have agreed with them philosophically, I never listened to crass very much because of that. I always thought they were just too noisy to keep my ear for long, though some tunes were ok(nagasaki nightmare or big a little a come to mind). Subhumans, on the other hand, were always as great as songwriters and players and they made probably the best albums and ep's in the whole british 80's scene(save discharge), and I can't wait until I can go and grab all the other discs at my local cd shop(they had almost all of 'em). To all you LUCKY folks who got to see 'em on their 2003 tour, I'm in total envy of you all. If any of ya took pics i'd love to see 'em. Send me an e-mail if you wanna sell me a set. Peace,Hope,Empathy.
