punk and pop should never have been put together because the result is shit fucking music, new found glory being one of the worst fucking offenders of this contradictory hybrid.

NEW FOUND GLORY IS PRETTY COOL. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO ONE OF THEIR CONCERTS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT BUT OH WELL THEY STILL ROCK AND ANYONE WHO THINKS DIFFERENTLY NEEDS HELP!
JUST KIDDING, EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN OPINION AND SHOULD FEEL FREE TO EXPRESS IT.

How can you people sit down and truly enjoy NFG? just out of curiostity...
because to me it sounds like a dying dog, with bronchitis....its horrible, and
the lyrics have no signifigant meaning.....the main thing i would think about, if
i was a NFG fan, is that my friends mom (who is about 60) likes them, which
is not the "cool"....sorry to say, but in my personal opinion, NFG is shit!

Dude New Found Glory arnt shit some of there tracks kick ass but its each to his/her own.

i wouldn't exactly say that new found glory is the best band, or even that they're anything but moderately talented. that said, their first LP Nothing Gold Can Stay had a sort of raw edge that you don't hear with pop punk bands anymore. I find this is what makes that album enjoyable to me, even to this day. I also enjoyed the album Sticks and Stones because it holds nostalgic value.
