First I would say Ja rule is not the best rappa I cannot realte to him in no way. I can realte to 50 cent because he lived a tough life and I did to and he showed me u can even make it out of a tough life. And also u can be shot nine times still make it to where u want to be. I don't know how Ja could be considered a 'rap' artist at this stage of his career, I mean look at his past work---Venni vetti vecci, and compare that to now, back then Ja WAS a rapper, now he just duets with Ashanti and sings. I think most of Ja's fans are 13-16 yr old middle class white girls who are sheep and don't know what good rap is (albeit the decision is made in the ear of the beholder), its hard to believe a black girl who came up hard from the projects could consider his current crap 'enlightening'. I bet most of his current fanbase have never heard Venni vetti vecci, they are addicted to sh1t like mezmerize, thats truly sad becuase that album was powerful. Now we see garbage like The Last Tempation. Ja is slowly turning rap into some f---ked up hybrid fusion of R&B. Compared to other artists like Eminem, or 50 Cent, Ja is exposed for talking about the fake things in life. Although I don't really like the two, I admit their styles and lyrics are relevant and powerful, something that rouses the memories of the past (2pac). At this point, I am confused to f--k at what Ja Rule, and Murder Inc. are trying to do, first off, why are they biting 2pac's beats? Its almost as awful as Jay-Z biting 2pac in "03' Bonnie...".
In closing, I hope these white girls will wake up someday, the ignorance that plagues them is startling. They need to open their eyes and see what true rap is. They are too damn into trends, that annoys me the most, they will follow any ol' mofo into a pit just because its the 'thang'. I see this all the time at my schools, little white girls who come from a rich family, and putting on the ruse of being so ghetto fabulous. (Sorry had to vent there)

JA WAS a good rapper, now he is changing the indutry for the worst, drawing much anger and criticism from other artists: DMX,Em,50Cent...etc..etc.

I am ignorant? I never said there were no rich black girls, that was never the focus of my post. But the fact of the matter is you know I am right, it just is almost impossible for anyone to say such a thing without coming off as a bigot or a racist of some sort, but it is a fact and yes, I reserve the right to label anyone I want, especially if its relevant to what my message is and above all else is TRUE. How do I know it's true? I've read just about every post on this page about Ja Rule and 50 cent and Eminem and other rappers and I have some things to say. First off, I will support Ja Rule because I think he is the only successful rapper out of the bunch that wasn't overly hyped to hell.
Everybody who said Ja was fake need to get their facts straight, they have to remember that what these people do is a business, it is how they make a living. Their record companies do whatever it takes to push their new artist. I've noticed most of the people who support Ja Rule have listened to 'Mesmerize', 'Put it on Me', and others from his last three CDs, but not many from Venni Vetti Vicci. The public listens to him because that is the kind of music that most people listen to. His first album is not his most successful album, but it is considered his most lyrically intense. He changed to keep people interested in him, and it work. And by the way, in all of his CDs, he contains enough hard core songs to keep his fans of VenniVettiVicci entertained.
50cent and Eminem were hyped before they came out, and while some of their songs are good, they won't last very long because people will get tired of the same stuff over and over (I know I have). Ja Rule will be around longer because he's always changing to make sure that people will always listen to him. Remember he does have a family to support. (It's not being fake, it's being smart).And to those who think that he's biting off of Tupac, anybody would, he is considered one of the best MC's of all time. You should call 50 fake if that's they way you think.
I think this 'beef' thing needs to stop, it's gettng stupid (Em and 50 I'm talking to you).
Keep doing what you're doing Ja, I'll be listening.
