They are coming to my town i a few weeks. Shoul d I go check them out, or will I await a big dissappointment if I do.. with what can I compare them? Did anyone ever see them live and was it worth it?

Oh yeah, i listened to Arch Enemy for the first time (yes... for the first time). I think Angela Gassow is pretty good. She is the best female growler, well... the best growler period, I have heard in metal :)

Eh... i'm bored. Thought i'd come on and ask everybody what their favorite In Flames song is. I like Only for the Weak, and Clayman. Their newer stuff is kinda weak but I still like it. Trigger is good, Cloud Connected will make my playlist eventually. Anyways... yeah.

Favourite In Flames song? Embody the Invincible, Clayman. Yeah, the Reroute to Remain album and the new one is really lame though - as far as I'm concerned In Flames has two albums: Clayman and Colony.

my fa inflames songs are. episode666, Lord Hypnos. try lord hypnos. i didnt catch the vibe till i play it over and over

I think all of their albums are great, except for their new one. With Reroute To Remain they experimented with nu metal elements, but still kept their old melodic-death edge. Soundtrack To Your Escape is pure nu metal shit.

My favorite In Flames songs are Clad In Shadows, The Jester Race and Pinball Map.

Albums:
The Jester Race
Lunar Strain
Whoracle

I've come to realise... Cloud Connected is my favourite In Flames song, although the bass line is painfully easy, despite having to tune down to G like in every In Flames song! Anyone heard the Club Conected remix? It's awesome :P I also think Whoracle is fantastic but it's not as heavy which is what I enjoy - Swim is also an exceptionally good song and Metaphor is cool as Hell! Well, I like loads of In Flames stuff really, although the new stuff is not as clever, so I hope they play a lot of old songs when I go to see them in November

Well, I saw them last night with Motorhead and DAMN did they fucking rock? The answer is yes... if anyone's seen the Used and Abused DVD but not been to a concert, lemme tell you that it just ain't the same - you have to be there! It was fucking immense; even now my ears are ringing! They played Cloud Connected too so yay (: Only real downside was that Daniel wasn't playing with them coz he's having a baby or something, so there was another Swedish drummer
It's a shame they don't do more cool stuff like Whoracle, Wayfaerer, Man Made God, Acoustic Medley... yeah, okaeey so I just listed several examples but the instrumental stuff is REALLY GOOD - sure it might make Anders feel left out (except in Whoracle and his singing is just awesome in that) but it's not like he does anything in any other instrumental songs, so why not just do some more?
And I think they should get a keyboarder for the sake of decency - virtually all of their songs have a keyboard part!

In Flaaames! Awesome band, with the exception of Peter Iwers, who just plays functional bass lines... but still, they work - just very very boring - I wish they'd go back to the roots of In Flames, coz their old stuff was cooler, even though I do enjoy all of their newer albums

Allite, reading through a few posts of you In Flames fans if you like whoracle (lack of lyrics, plenty of melody and really easy going) then you may wish to check out Isis which I think is along the same kinda lines...

Here's where you can have a li'l listen - Enjoy.
