Dispatch is a band that i have grown with. My friend from SLT introduced me to their music freshman year when i was gonig through a hard time. they have been my life line. through their lyrics i find the will to keep going when all i want to do is give up. i know that if i am in a bad mood all i need to do is turn on elias and i wll cheer up and start to sing. i have never had the pleasure of hearing disptch prform live yet i hope that they will soon have a show in the memphis area.

From yet another dispatch fan: I LOVE THIS BAND!!!
What is your favorite dispatch song???
>>By dispatcher (Wednesday, 26 Mar 2003 21:50)
I first heard Dispatch at my summer camp. One of my tent mates was playing "The General". The General was my first Dispatch song and one of my favorites. This song has a powerful meaning. You have to listen to the lyrics. A General who is old and who has faught in many battles, finnally see's that there is no point to war and that he is old, and his army is young. He has seen everybody else and he has seen the mothers of the army men, and he see's that it is not worth fighting. He tells his men that they have too much to live for and that he will not allow them to fight with him, and to go home and live the life they deserve.
I am 14 years old, and 6 year guitar player. Dispatch has inspired me. All of there songs are great and creative, and well thought out. I am learning almost all of there songs on guitar and most of them are a fun challange and fun to perform on stage and at home.
I will post more later.

Simply the best musicians out there right now. the perfect blend of independent music feel and extremely catchy beats and rythyms. everytime you think you have discovered a genre for them, the next song you hear will completely defy it. songs have infclections of regae, latin guitar, soul, straight rock n roll, jam band acoustic rock, and others. they sound like a 12 peice band but they do it with 3. they harmonize almost as well as anyone ive ever heard and they do it with a special blend of musical talent and soul. the lyrics are simply perfect. they take everything that is great about dave matthews band and improve upon it, leaving behind any hint of pop music. get any of their cds. i recomend gut the van simply because they are good as ever when they play live. long live dispatch....keep gettin better but dont go to mainstream on me. please! come to new orleans!!!

I am also am in love with dispatch, I was wondering if anyone was aware of a website i could visit to see the latest update on the band, and when they are touring and all of that good stuff. Dispatch is one of the most talented bands i have ever heard, and i would love to see them perform when ever they get back to doing all of that. If anyone knows if they could post that info here i would be very apperciative. Thanks!

This band rocks, no doubt about it..... and to all you who thought Dispatch were loved just in the good old US, I'm an aussie kicking out to their funky tunes her in Melbourne. You gotta love a band who can harmonise like these guys and play songs with meaning. Any chance of a down under tour..... I'll throw throw the shrimps on the barbie!

>>By timbonski (Wednesday, 23 Apr 2003 20:49)
Why the fuck did dispatch have to break up it really pisses me off I love them so much and I havent seen them live. Maybe one day theyll get together for another tour. I love this band and if any of the band members are reading this right now please get back together for the sake of the fans that love your music. I might sound a little overreactive but I wish I could just see them live.
