This is one of my favorite bands, these guys have some of the best lyrics I have ever heard because I can relate to them. I know what it's like to be screwed over by a woman and when mine left me for someone else this was the only cd i listened to and it made me feel so much better because i knew that there was someone who understands what i went through. Im going to see them on July 7, 2003 in Denver and i can't wait. My favorite song is the "no seatbelt song" and "seventy times seven."

Brand New is one of those bands that you listen to when your ready to punch your best friend in the face. I think that there new cd is just as good as their old one. It is different yeah, but still has the Brand New touch. I think Brand New is amazing and that there should be more bands like them.

>>By livingfailure   (Monday, 7 Jul 2003 23:13)

And another thing. Yeah Seventy Times Seven is a great song, one of their best, but do you really expect them to produce kick ass songs like that everytime they make a new cd. I like the new more serious side of Brand New. If gives you a better feel of what they are all about.

>>By livingfailure   (Monday, 7 Jul 2003 23:16)

I love Brand New so much. They're def. one of the best bands, ever. Seventy times 7 is def. an amazing song with meaningful lyrics filled with emotion and truth. I'd love to see them preform Seventy Times 7 against There's no 'I' In Team (taking back sunday). I think it'd be amazing! Anyone agree?

>>By bRoKeNhArTdLoSeR   (Thursday, 10 Jul 2003 22:58)

OMG! brand new has such a style that hasn't been done or duplicated. they have the melodies, the harmonies, the lyrics... everything. my favorite song is probably the No Seat Belt Song. i love it so much a long with all of the rest of the CD. i can't waite to see them in concert again. (Don't even get me started on the live shows.) I hope that there will be much more produced by them and they definetly won't fade away, ever.

WoW! What an amazing band... and everyone above is right (except that moron Andy) 70 times seven is the best song ever. I bought the cd having only heard about it from friends and i definetly was not disapointed. Brandnew is a damn good band and i can't wait to see them in concert!

>>By staubs   (Friday, 25 Jul 2003 04:37)

okay the truth is that i've only heard about maybe 4 of there songs and as soons as i heard them i was playing them all over and over again....brand new is an amazing band..the lyrics are really good :) i really enjoy listening to there songs ...rock on guys!

>>By Courtney   (Saturday, 26 Jul 2003 21:10)

Brand New is the worst band ever to disgrace music i dont see how you half wit idiots can possibly stand this Northstar/TBS ripoff band without throwing up your blood. THEY ARE THE WORST BAND EVER. "more guts then 11 year old kids" BWA HA HA HA HA, did they get that line from my ass or what

>>By ha ha brand new blows   (Sunday, 27 Jul 2003 02:16)

ahhh brand new is so awesome.... their new cd is different but still good. i was wondering -- what happened between brand new and taking back sunday? why are they mad at each other? please someone tell me!!!!!!

>>By soccer17Liz   (Monday, 28 Jul 2003 03:15)

I heard about Brand New from a couple of friends. I listened, I liked, I bought the cds!

>>By BigTOB   (Monday, 18 Aug 2003 02:04)

no one has written in here. so i thought i would
brand new is so awesome. i am in love with vinny
and does anyone know what the song seventy times seven is about?
well... the lead singer from taking back sunday was BEST FRIENDS with the lead singer from brand new back in high school. lead singer from tbs slept with brand news girlfriend. and that's what this song is about. if anyone's ever heard "there's no "I" in team. by taking back sunday. it's about that situation too. yeah. later on guys

>>By boybreaksgirl   (Friday, 19 Sep 2003 00:31)

this is the first song for your mix tape, and it's short just like your temper...

>>By punk_child_8713   (Wednesday, 24 Sep 2003 03:59)

brand new..... yes.. they deep very deep.. a crown of gold and a heart that's harder than stone.. and it hurts a whole lot but its missed when its gone..

>>By bathewithmyradio   (Monday, 13 Oct 2003 02:34)

Hmm.. I love Brand New. Seventy Times 7 is a great song, as has been said above, it reminds me of a friend I once had, and yet it also reminds me of pop punk music. So I'm pretty happy with the "newer" Brand New (not that that made any sense)
...Guernica is a good song. =D Oh well.
I love pretty much all of their songs. Old and new.

"I am the watch you always wear that you forget to wind"

Heh, I love Brand New because I hate my friend. If that makes sense.

>>By applexcore   (Tuesday, 18 Nov 2003 01:32)

Oh yeah, and when I went to the music shop to buy "Deja Entendu" the guy at the counter was like "Are they like eeeeemo rock" and I was like "Die".

>>By applexcore   (Tuesday, 18 Nov 2003 01:34)

Oh, yeah... The thing between TBS and Brand New... John Nolan (ex -guitarist and singer of TBS) and Jesse Lacey used to be bestfriends, but a girl got between them (Jesse's girlfriend cheated on him with John) and so... Jesse wrote "Seventy Times 7" for John, and in response to that song, John (and Adam) wrote "There's No 'I' in Team" and they borrowed some of Jesse's lyrics ("is that what you call tact? you're as subtle as a brick on the small of my back, so let's end this call and end this conversation.")... they went on tour together and everything... and John and JEsse got to be friends again eventually... they sorta picked on each other for a while... but now, John left TBS... and Jesse doesn't think it's right for TBS to be performing the song... and Jesse doesn't like some of the members of TBS... but again, they're are in the same genre so they do have to compete, like both of them want to be the better band...

>>By Kittie5644   (Monday, 24 Nov 2003 20:35)

And for all those people that are "dissing" brand new... they're really awesome people... and they'll stick up for things they believe in... a lot of people now will cave... and they write well... and they're really good... especially live... they've got a unique sound... and they don't jip their fans, they make sure they play the best they can and they always change something so every time they play it, it's unique... you can't say that about a lot of bands... and therefore, they deserve to be respected.

>>By Kittie5644   (Monday, 24 Nov 2003 20:39)

No one has said anything in a long time
