It was a shock to me when Aaliyah died. To me it was not like just losing a singer or entertainer it was losing a wonderful, wonderful human being.I did not know her personally but I know good when I see it.She always appeared to be happy person. I am truly ,truly missing her. I would love to be remembered as her, a beautiful person with a lot of talent.I want to be able to touch people deeply through my music.God bless Aaliyah and her family, Love JAKEYA

I miss Aaliyah so much! She was tha best! I have 3 middle names. They represent pretty things. My mamma put MyAngel in cause' it means i'm her angel!! I love all 4 of those names! yeah, I remember Aaliyah just like yesterday!! I was at 1 of her concerts and I asked her Gentley for her her audo-graph. She wrote hername onthat piece of paper and said " you are a preciou girl" I told her thank you. I put my arms aroun her and she gave me a hug! I felt something going through my heart. It felt kind of sad. Something went in my mind andit looked like an airplane crashing. Im sorry but thats whatit seemed.

Aaliyah you have a very good voice and alway will have even if you are not here in body you will always gonna be here in mind. No one in this world can take your place girl and a few people have tried that already but it could never happen coz they aint as good as you.

She was the greatest ever she loved everyone I got to meet her at a concert she was very friendly and generous she knew very well what she wanted to do for the rest of her life and that was to serve God and sing. Singing is what she loved and she willl live on in many of our hearts for a long time I am going to name my baby girl aaliyah because aaliyah inspired me to keep going no matter what happens in life and to never give up hope, I will always remember and love and admire aaliyah for all she has done for me and many of her fans. Ijust want to say she is with God and we will see her again in heaven.

I liked Aaliyah. I thought she was one of the most beautifuol women on television. She will greatly be missed. When she died i was shocked. I didn't know that heaven was going to call her so quickly, but i guess they needed another angel in the sky.

and my birthday is Jan. 17 1990 I was surpprised when I herd that. When she passed
away it seemed that my whole life was messed up every time I see one of her songs
