Zebda

catchy music some of it poinient "Tombes des nues" and "Jecrois qui ca va pas etres possible" others lighthearted and funky " Tomber la chemise" a mixed flavour of French and i think algerian music.

i can't understand all the words, becuase my french insn't too hot but the vocal highs and lows and the bapbap rap of the different styles of voices are what sell the music rather than a message (are you out there arrested development?)

We live in the same town as Zebda, in Toulouse. We know 2 members of the group, Magyd and Moos; They are so great. IN their lyrics they talk about the hard condition tha it means to be an imigrate's child in France.Very very politikm.   (Sunday, 8 Dec 2002 15:32)

I would like to ask everyone a favour. I live in Belgium, Flandres and we are going to perform a French play in school. Ofcourse we can't forget to sing Zebda. Does anyone have the instrumental version of "Tomber la chemise"? I would be very grateful. If you have it you can send me the site where you found it or you can send it to me on my e-mail: melissa_heemskerk@hotmail.com

Thanks a lot!
Zebda RULES!!

Greetings and a merry Christmas
