I first saw wrathchild in the mid 80's at a small club in Myrtle Beach called "Castaways" and man they were fukin good. They were a real band; no bullshit no "are you ready to rock" no "how many of you came here to party" none of that bullshit just back to back precision "RnR"

Lets see... The Rabits Foot (watch the low ceiling), HammerJacks, Wilmers Park, The Bayou, The Paragon, Mountainview Inn, Jacks, Todds Place, New Haven, CT (remember the HammerJacks bumper sticker) the people at Todds Place didn't know what hit um. Hummm... oh and wasn't there a video from West 57th.... Damn I'm dating myself now. Long time fan that will never forget the many right in your face nights of the badest band to date from Baltimore (Hagerstown, kinda) to ever rock the Baltimore/D.C. area. Those of you who didn't have a chance to see this band in their day really missed out. Still playing the CD's from time to time.

I was the lead throat for a progressive metal band out of North Carolina called Lexx Luthor. We played many shows with Wrathchild and I gotta say man...MINGA!!! One of the baddest fucking bands ever! These guys were true grit rockers! I later joined a band out of Ohio called Naked Truth and we opened for Wrathchild America at Bogart's. Thanks guys for some of the very best "kick me in the balls" rock and roll to ever have been created!!! Good luck with Godsmack Shannon! Sully Erna was our drummer in those days with the mighty Lexx and was great back then as a drummer also! We're proud of you Sully!!!

Still love "Candy from a madman", "Hernia", "3-D Man", just to name a few. So Brad, Jay, Terry & Shannon-thanks for the killer metal...How 'bout a Souls at Zero reunion tour?

Well I was hooked the first time I saw the climbin' the walls video. Man I wish you guys were still together! I got to open up for you in Houston on the 3-D tour. Had the pleasure of seeing and meeting you only five times. Late last year (2002) they were playing a block of covers on the radio when I heard them play "I Ain't Drunk" I couldn't believe it. Anyways, THANK YOU for the BEST music the world has ever heard.

I always wondered what happened to the road crew? Yes, the band was great, but the roadies were too! Rick, Bentley, All and I do know that Steve passed away. Can anyone fill me in on these guys?

Wrathchild America was such a fucking AWESOME band - I used to go see these guys way back in the day at a club called Network in Pasadena, MD and at Hammerjacks in Baltimore -- me and my friends never missed a show. THE most talented band around at the time by far.. I wish they'd get back together sometime and do a reunion show(s).. that would be fucking awesome. We miss you guys!!
>>By LouCipherr (Friday, 4 Jul 2003 17:47)

wrathchild america kicks ass. i have both of there albums and i also have all the souls at zero albums. i seen the band twice back in the early 90's in cincinnatti ohio at a place called bogarts. they rocked the house. i just wish they would get back together to do some shows or an album. i still listen to there albums on a regular basis as they are the best albums own. in my mind, there were alot better than metallica and they are one of my favorite bands to listen, but now they suck. (metallica i mean). wrathchild america just didnt get a reconition for the excellent music they made.
>>By jermdm (Wednesday, 16 Jul 2003 05:06)
we used to see them all the time at swizzles in york, and at hammerjacks. rick loesch and me would hang with jay all the time and party all nite. the best metal band i ever saw! still have all the music and still kicks ass! get back together.
>>By alex (Thursday, 17 Jul 2003 16:21)
I first saw them in Lawton Oklahoma in a small club called hardrocks. They used to play with Pantera back then before they were signed. Wrathchild blew them away every time!! I really miss those days in the 80's and early 90's. I'd just like to say that they were a big influence on my guitar playing and I still Jam to them today. I wish they would get back together!!
>>By Ytsejam (Saturday, 19 Jul 2003 16:34)
I saw Wrathchild America at a small club in Michigan (Blondies) in like '89 I think. I had never heard of them, I was just there to see my friends band, Vigilante. From the first note I was blown away. Everybody went nuts. Just f*ckin nuts! I don't think anybody knew what to expect. Everybody just came to their feet and started moshing and dancing. Just awesome energy comes outta these guys. The album is great, but it doesn't do the live show justice.
