oh...and he looks great in in joy and sorrow... that will fit both 666 godess cause he has hair down, and fish4ever casue he has make up ... and me cause he is in the video :D

firstly, HIM, its an emo band, pretty sopy, and i ain't into that kinda stuff right now, i think Finch was the only proper EMO band i really liked.
as a band, they don't sound bad, and i hold no grudge aginst them, the only reason to be prejudiced against the band is the singer.
Vile vallo, and name that makes me cringe, wen i see him on the from cover, i hav to hit the wall, so i don't hit the cd instead, and wen i hear his voice, i want to break the neck the voice is coming from. i want to hear that same voice screaming for mercy on the other end of my samurai sword.
I HATE VILLE VALO, i hate him so much that to own a piece of paper with his name written on it, is punishable by crucifixion. i pity the rest of the band, for having to put up with him, to do so much as meet him, without seeing him die!
his existance is like a thorn in my side, if i saw him die a slow painful death, and then fall into the 9th layer of Hell, to be chewed in the jaws of satan for the rest of eternity, i wud only be half satisfied.

alright, i'm not sure i'd classify HIM as an emo band, but this isnt a discussion about HIM, so about Ville Valo. it's not expected that everyone is going to like him, i can see why a guy wouldn't. he threatens you men's masculinity which you all hold o so dear to you, but it's a huge turn-on that he's not afraid to wear make-up, wear tight clothes, and sing about love and death and hell and whatnot with such meaningful and beautiful lyrics. I find his voice strong and powerful in a hypontic sense. he wouldnt be as great without his band, so i give them a bunch of kudos, they can really play. ok, those are my two-cents on the subject of Ville. he's such a great performer! he knows how to be himself, and that's extremely sexy!

umm flake 1.6 have you ever MET ville valo? and if you have, what the hell is wrong with him? i wouldnt label him as emo....well i wouldnt label them at all cuz thats stupid...theres no point in bothering us with your hate rants because even though i realize that this discussion is not just for fans, and everyone has their own opinion, i just dont see the point in bothering people who like the band... now you must suffer the wrath of your sweet 666 godess :)

HIM are indeed a sort of emo. If you read through this discussion, there are many times people have said things which would have suited the HIM discussion better. My last post is relevant to Ville Valo - also my point about not having anything against HIM as a band but hating their singer.
I can't imagine why anyone likes him. Why does he have a huge discussion board all to himself? It's totally out of proportion with the HIM board. Ville Valo sucks. But my masculinity is not threatened - my girlfriend doesn't like him either. I find the way he displays his pubic hair to be disgusting. There's no place for that sort of thing on an album cover. It's shameless. If you find provocative dressing attractive, I'd be interested to know what guys can find attractive about you... Like, if you ever meet a real life guy who isn't famous and is your age but actually dresses like Ville Valo (really now, you like him for his clothes/make-up rather than his personality - shame upon you), why do you expect him to like you?
His voice sounds like that because he smokes excessively. Again, shame... his band are good; that I'll grant them. But he sucks as a singer. There's nothing special about his voice, and all of his lyrics seem to be the same.
I know how to be myself. Is that sexy? I shouldn't think so. Most guys do know how to be themselves... if I was Ville Valo, I'd be ashamed.

hey there flake, alright, first: on the album cover of razorbalde romance, those arent his pubes, it's a tattoo. if a guy had pubes that formed together to display a picture of swirly plant things, hey, it'd be something different. but he doesn't, it's just a tattoo, so calm down. i'm also very sorry that i find ville's provocative style sexy, but as for me, i wear baggy rock tees, and if i'm not, i'm wearing a cloth jacket with band patches on it, which is loose fitting, and i never wear shorts in school, not even in gym, so dont even think that my priorities are based on dress-style. and i never said that ville's looks were all that i liked, from clips i've seen of him in concert and little interviews i've seen, he seems like a pretty cool guy. if he was an ass-hole, i definately wouldnt like him. i know plenty of sexy assholes who i despise. a good personality is a huge priority. and i dont expect the guys i like to like me back, and if they don't, o well. and there's no proof that his voice is like that only because of the smoking. i know plenty of guys who dont smoke who have nice deep-like voices. plus, ville's pretty young, so i dunno if the smoking would have that much of an effect on his voice right now. and actually, being yourself and not conforming to what society says you should be is sexy, for me anyways. most guys seem to conform and dont know how to make their own decisions.

ville is not only make up and clothes he is also a bloody fantastic voice. and i have never met him but i bet there are people who you talk about and like only on the basis on interviews and their music which is actually why i like HIM and ville because he is their lead singer. It just helps that i think he's gorgeous as well.
