the velvets are probably the most influential band of all time, and also dont get all the press and shit that goes along with bands which makes them very fucking special too. words cannot describe how brilliant this band really are. i have been collecting velvets material since i was a kid when i heard black angels death song many many moons ago~

How on Earth can such an influential band have only three tributes here?!

I can't believe this is all that's written about this amazing group.

The Velvet Underground were all over the place in terms of structure and harmony. we talked this before, so lets not even get into THAT. but where I am most primarily concerned is in the reluctance to even acknowledge the little eyes that pitter patter in the night. CAN't you see them! making it seem as if this arm was bloodily tatooed over and over by pirate mercenaries and me and friend bill's brother lester spy in a treehouse and my psychology is beocoming all too severe in this mad hatters quiet e flat minor waltz.

as in a moby octopod derives rightwards downwards into the catering song
