Yo all! The Seatbelts are my favorite band, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some sheet music for it. Like, any sheet music. For any song other than Cat Blues. I play sax, but any/all sheet music is appreciated. Send it to cookies0080@hotmail.com. Thanks a bunch!

Wow! I really really love the Seatbelts. They play te greatest jazz music. When I first heard it, it made me want to become a jaz musician. Now I've been looking all over the web searchingfor their songs. Also, we can't give the Satbelts all the credit for the true master who composed the music is the beloved Yoko Kanno. If anyone wants to chat with a fan (not a fan that blows air :)), e-mail me at skateguy0@aol.com. Adios space cowboys and girls.

Yo, peeps. Sheet music? i got it. go to www.animemusicensemble.org for TANK and ichigosmusic.com for real folk blues. Peace out

While seatbelts are great and all, THE Seatbelts rock! Sadly they go by another name when they aren't doing music for Cowboy Bebop. They are headed by Yoko Kanno, she has her own site...

For all those people wanting the sheet music to the songs of Cowboy Bebop, if they're jazz, it's highly unlikely you'll get them.

The whole idea behind Jazz is improv, it's not impossible to transfer Tank!, Rush, or Too Good Too Bad onto sheet music, but it IS very difficult, even for Jazz Musicians. You can try doing it if you're a musician with some skill in writing music(actual music notation, not just lyrics alone) but I wouldn't bother.

Most modern and post-modern improv is played through chaotic melody, that's why it's so hard to apply to sheet music.

I have found a site that sells a Musical Score of the Bebop Songs. I bought the book myself and it's awesome! It has "Tank!" with the Sax Solo, "Rush", "Space Lion" more commonly called "Goodnight Julia", "Cats on Mars", "Memory", finally "The Real Folk Blues".
So far I have most of "Rush" down but $#%^ some of these note are waaay up there ^^^ Like another 2 staffs up. Anyway here's the link:

ok, I'm new here, but I wanna tell you some cool stuff. I have two copies of the bebop sheet music book, and I can play memory on the piano. I also had a jazzband over the summer which played Tank!, and I was the director/drummer. It was really cool, cause my sax even played the solo down to its every bits and pieces pretty much. anyways, that was cool, and I can play other stuff on the piano too, like my own little things. Piano black, Fe, and Rain. I REALLY wanna learn dijurido or anything from the 2nd disc of the movie OST. If anyone can transcribe here, that would be very cool to do that and put it on sheet music. Ok, well, I'm outta here, later all.

I got a few things to say.
>Firstly, the seatbelts exist within the plot of cowboy bebop. They are a hit band that exists in the furute. Go to http://rfblues.aaanime.net/Seatbelts/ for more details on the real seatbelts. For recording purposes however YK had to make a band. The members of the band can be seen on that website also. The band that recorded cowboy bebop's music was only in existance for the purpose of recording and for a tour promoting cowboy bebop's music. During which, they went under the name "The Seatbelts". The band is no longer in existance (or at least they are not calling them selves The Seatbelt).
>Secondly jazz music can be written. It is not all improv. Only certain parts are for improv. And improv is usually reserved to one intrument at a time. The background harmony, the core melody, and everything but maybe the solo is not improv. To many jazz seems sparatic and almost unstructered, but jazz follows the same rules as other music. Even the improv is restricted to only the notes of a certain chord.
>But i love the music of cowboy bebop. It's spectacular.
>If the song is not in the band score then you will not find the score for it unless you make it yourself or have a friend who can. So please stop asking. It gets us no where

Yah. I'm a fan of C.B. I Like Tank!. I'm searching for sheet music for tenor sax version and bass version.

I know that his is kind of off topic, but i was dissapointed in the ending on cowboy bebop.
