i think they're the beginning of punk bands (after ramones n operation ivy) so blink182, good charlotte, n all those punk pop bands have a lot to learn from them.....until dexter n noodles die.......

the offspring aren't bad - americana was a damn good album but other than that they're pretty much an average band - not the best, but not bad

I like offspring but has ne1 else noticed that they're songs r all really short. Its kinda a waste buying their albums coz they r all only like 30 min long. Not exactly value for money.

There is nothing old fashion about the offspring. And they are defenatly closer to pop then to punk... All their hits have guitar riffs that are ripped from other bands, the first is ripped from Smell like teen spirit, the last from a beatles song (o blei die oblei da live goes all on, la la la why don't you get a job?) It is so obvious that I really wonder why people take this band serious.......

Yeah but if they r going 2 have such short songs they should do more of them. That way it would be even more value. Tho i do agree, they'r good while they last.

I would have to say that the good ole offspring it better but no matter what music alwayz is evolveing so if you don't like it don't buy it.

The Offspring is a great band, especially Americana and Smash. They are way better than a lot of bands out there, and fuck you dresden , you don't deserve to live.
